tongue rings side effects

Hello, Has anyone else experienced a sore, swollen tongue and swollen and painful salivary glands after receiving RAI treatment? My taste buds are really messed up as well. I told my Endochrinologist about this and she says she's never heard of a swollen tongue as a side effect and told me it is unrelated. I have never had a swollen tongue in my life. She's making me feel like a freak! Is there anyone out there who has experienced tongue problems? If so, how long does it last?

For a long time I have been plagued with white rings on the left side of my tongue that come and go.There may be two or three that will join in one day and then disappear and start again. Turn red and inside the ring.

I had many side effects. Headaches, severe heartburn accompanied with hiccups. Blisters and discoloration all over my tongue and back of my throat. By day 6 my feet and ankles were badly swollen and it was getting difficult to swallow. My doc said I was having a systemic reaction and to quit immediately. We are going to try Subutex now and I hope it works. On all the info I found, the only side effect I had that was listed was headache.

Hello, I was seen in the ER today for a migraine and they gave me a mixture of compazine, benadryl, toradol and a steroid through an IV. I was wondering what possible side effects I may encounter.

I got the pregnancy belly rings and they suck! my belly button is stretching horizontally so the opening can fit like nothing in it.. I stuck that little belly ring in there.. which is about half the size of a normal barbell and it irritated the **** out of the hole because it was like stretching it back open.. it hurt to move.. but everyone grows differently but personally I wouldnt waste my money again..

Wow, I have the same thing going on. It seems like it starts small, gets bigger, then goes away within about 10 days. terrified its cancer.

but around 2pm i start getting flu-like symptoms and they last till i fall asleep. im not sure if they are side effects from the suboxone(it is listed as common side effect) or if im not taking enough suboxone and having wd.but like i said i feel fine in the morning.

This may be tmi, sorry but, i have my nipples and tongue pierced. Among others, but those are the ones im wprried about. Did/do any of you ladies have either done? And did you have to take them out, if so around how many weeks did you remove them?

I think u may not be able to sleep cos ur bp is too high and thats quite dangerous, usually i cant get any sleep if my bp rises above 150/90. Side effects of atenolol for me are slow pulse, weak erection, weakness and tiredness, confusion, difficulty taking quick decisions.

I recently read that one of the side effects of circumcision is meatal stenosis and that uncircumcised men don't suffer from it. Is that correct? Also, would this side effect occur if a male had a frenoplasty? Do any of the other side effects of circumcision apply to a frenoplasty?

My tongue started out very sore and dry, I could not handle spicy foods or mouthwash and I got white rings under my tongue off and on. My tongue is now less sore and the white rings have gone away, but now I have white patches that definitely look like hairy leukoplakia. Sometimes my throat is little sore and I have a slight cough. I used to think my HIV risk was low but now I'm not sure.

I dont think your tongue ring makes a difference just your belly ring but I cpuld be wrong. I dont have my tongue pierced..
