tongue piercing pros and cons

hello again well i wanna start by saying that like about 3 years ago i got my tongue pierced and i started getting light headed and my tongue had lots of pain.but then i found out that the place i had it done wasent a good place of choice. alot people that has gone there has had an issue and i learned about this after the fact ! so should i try it again or not??

I need a list of pros and cons of a stretch and sweep/sweeping the membranes. I have an appointment tomorrow and I've been having early labor type contractions for days now. I'd really just like to get things moving. Positive and negative real life experiences would be great as well. I'd really like to make an informed decision. Thanks ladies!

I don't know much about it. My husband says it is important to have our son circumcised. He says it's cleaner and healthier, and that it's safer to do now than when he is older.

I think emotionally i wouldn't be able to handle the natural route, but tryin to prepare myself in the case that it does happen between now and monday. guess i'll have to wait and see what this weekend brings and see the OB on monday afternoon. It does take a lot of dedication though! Pros out weigh the cons for sure! I tried with my daughter and was not successful only bc i waited till i left hospital to try so she already got use to the bottle. Def going to start as soon as this baby pops out this time!! I'm a 1st time mommy to be & I'm constantly thinking what are the pros & cons on having an epidural or intrathecal? I've heard & read a lot of good & bad things on both! I'm afraid of needles in my vein! Ya weird cuz I have tattoos! N.e wayz the thought of a needle in my spine freaks me out!!! >_< any mommy's who has had either of these... Pls. tell me how ur experience was.

However, the dentist recommends removing it, as it can become cystic later on in life. It is very close to the tongue, so I could lose permanently lose sensation in my tongue, first and second molar and/or deform my lower jaw. It doesnt hurt at all, and I did not know it existed until the X-rays revealed it. My question is, is it worth getting it removed, especially when the cons weigh out the pros?

I am now estimated 6 weeks pregnant, and am having to make the decision about wether or not to come off my meds. I am in the process of weighing my pros and cons, but wonder if any other moms have been on any meds while pregnant. I would appreciate any input.

If you know you can do it without the epidural then I'd suggest you not getting it i had a csection and didnt have a choice now my back bothers me in the spot where they stuck the needle in it feels like a tooth ache and it took them several times and 2 anesthesiology to get it in the right spot which was the worst part of the whole thing

We tried Ritalin and Concerta and one created a zombie and the other a sleepless child who was very angry all the time. We have been using Stratera for almost two years and we think it's just wonderful. My son his seeing the doc everything 3 months, but that medication does not stop his growth, he is not a zombie, he is still a clown and he loves to tease and joke around. It is one pill a day and we noticed the effects to last for + - 12 hrs.

I'm currently taking Symlin. Has lots of pros and cons...first, I've lost about 15 pounds and have gone from 110 units of insulin (using a pump) daily to about 70 or 75. Makes you so unbelievably nauseaus you can't eat, so losing weight isn't really a problem. Certain foods still make you so sick you pray for death even after you've adjusted to the medicine. If you don't take it when you eat a meal...for me, it's an immediate BS of 400, no matter what I eat...
