tongue piercing closing up

I had to take my belly piercing out cause of the risk of it tearing open when i get bigger but i didnt ask about the tongue piercing. Is it safe to keep it in my mouth since ive had for about 5 years now, hopefully someone can help me with the answer. THANKIESS!!!!

im not sure haha ive never gotten anything pierced other than ears and belly button...i can't imagine it would hurt any worse than a tongue piercing. i mean it hurt but it wasn't unbearable. if you want one you should get one after cole gets here. it was totally worth the pain to me. i love mine. i just hope it doesn't get all weird lookin.

I have taken my belly ring out about 6 months both times tried a pregnancy flexible ring and it was awkward so just put regular ring back in about a week pp (ive had my bb done for about 15yrs so its not closing up) and had a vertical hood that I took out the day before induction with my first and waited too long to put it back in (I was afraid to look down there) so I just plan on redoing it after im done having kids

I have had my belly button pierced for two years now and i recently took it out because my belly button is starting to come out. Did anyone take theres out and it ended up closing up or will it not close up because ive had it for two years?

The hole ended up closing so just be prepared to have it redone once you heal.

t move, so I took mine out. I occasionally put it through the piercing to keep it from closing up, but other than that, I can't wear mine.

I have also had my tongue pierced for 8-9 weeks. Is this blotch related to my tongue piercing? and what is this red blotch? what should i do? please help p.

I never removed my tongue piercing during labour. The only one I ever took out during pregnancy was my belly ring, and it went right back in after delivery.

Ok so i just got my tongue pierced about a week ago it is a venom tongue piercing so its a double tongue piercing. But when it is fully healed (4 weeks) i have to change the bars to a smaller flat-headed post but i dont know where to go to find one i live in Sudbury so maybe somebody knows where to go, and if you do PLEASE comment below and tell me where!? thxs.

it can take weeks for tongue piercing to heal, and some pain and swelling is normal. If you see any pus or indication of infection or fever, take it out and see dr for antibiotics.. I have several piercings myself and I know it ***** having to take them out.. Also a possibility you're allergic to the jewlery?

I got my tongue pierced about a year and half ago, but I have suddenly got a lot of ulcers in around my mouth and my tongue and gums are swollen and i just wanted to know if that had anything to do with my tongue piercing. my tongue piercing looks pretty normal apart from the fact that my tongue is swollen and the end of it is numb and funny feeling as if i've burnt the to of it.

I want to get my tongue pierced for my husband and surprise him with it is it safe to get a tongue piercing when your pregnant or is it not safe and it can affect the baby hit me up and tell me what you think.

t think it will close up real fast. They use a hollow needle and remove everything where the piercing is so I'm not sure if it'll fully close at all. I think I'll take it out right before labor, and ask my fiance to stick the piercing through shortly after labor to make sure it stays open.
