I would carefully check the wood you are talking about. You can also go for a mold allergy test which is a skin test easily done.

Invest in a tongue scrapper. I only paid $10 for mine and it will last me for forever since it’s made of same material as forks/spoons. Keeping my tongue clean and free of this yellowish white coating has helped me tremendously. m on wk 41 and do not have any discoloration at the tip of my tongue but my tongue is very sensitive to salt, acidic food and spicy foods. I can no longer put my favorite Italian dressing on salads because it burns my tongue. Toothpaste and mouthwash are torture. This is my 3rd pregnancy and still no stretch marks (knock on wood). I also tried the stretch mark cream at the motherhood store before but it made me itch really bad and it didn't smell so good.

Some women are prone to them just by genetics alone and not many lotions will help much, but coconut oil, bio oil, belly butters, are great for keeping the skin hydrated!
