tongue cancer underside

Ok. I have a lump on the underside of tongue, kind of like a fliud- filled sac, which is slowly increasing in size. About 1cm long at the moment, cylindrical. Dentist said he's never seen anything like it. Does anyone have ideas about what it is that I could suggest to him? A blocked saliva gland would be nice to know, but are they on the underside of tongue? I don't know to be honest, hoping it's not cancer or something. 20 year old non-smoker.

there are usually 2 noticeable veins that run down the underside of the tongue. on one of my veins at the tip of the vein, i noticed a small red bump/flap. it lay flat down but you could raise the flap up. It was stiff and I noticed I had a small lump on the UNDERSIDE of the TIP of my tongue on the LEFT side only when I flexed my tongue. If I left it perfectly still, and limp, there was no lump. But, if I move it even slightly, it pops out. If you look at my tongue, it's not symmetrical at all. It started to impact my ability to speak clearly and the area gets very stiff when I talk a lot. To the point it feels like a Charlie horse. Hurts!

I do not think this is serious, but without seeing it a diagnosis can not be made. Please consult an oral surgeon for a definitive diagnosis.

20 years ago, I had a small lump removed from the underside of my tongue toward the back - NOT the front. I lost a bit of feeling in the tongue tip but nothing bad. Fast forward twenty years, I wake one day to a very sore tongue. It eventually centers in the the tip of my tongue, right below where I had lost feeling. It feels like I have a bubble in there. There is no visible lump and you can not see much more than a raised section when I flex my tongue tip.

I had a strange sensation at the right back of the underside of my tongue (where your tongue meets your throat). I saw two dentists & an ENT who weren't concerned. I then saw an oral surgeon who had a look at the area & said there was an indentation right at the very back on that side & not on the other. He took a small biopsy to be safe which came back as irritated keratosis from possible trauma.

Hi, I've had for about 2-3 weeks white patches on the sides of my tongue, on top of it and also on the underside, they seem to appear and dissappear in almost the same place but not always with the same shape, they hardly hurt, except when I eat certain foods, and I get like a tingling or burning sensation, my question is: Could this be geographic tongue? I also notice that they appear when I am under a lot of stress which I have been lately.

A week ago the right underside of my tongue started hurting like I cut it but there's no injury. As well it was hard to swallow and my neck on that side felt like it was sprained. My glands on that side are swollen too. Please tell me what this may be?

Sometimes there is a slight tingling pain in places in my mouth when i chew or move the tongue (mostly on the tongue or under) but it isnt serious at all and eventually goes away. Idk if this is because of dry mouth or what. All of these weird symptoms appearing are concerning me. Advice and knowledge on this topic to ease my stress would be appreciated.

I have a white growth on the underside of my tongue, it is on the right side. At night, while I am in a deep sleep, an electrical zap (that's the only way I know how to put it) hits that white growth and sometimes the lower jaw on the same side. On the underside of my tongue, there are two very small 1/4" flaps of skin about halfway back that sort of hang down. I saw someone mention below that he had those, and he wondered if they were abnormal, so I guess not everyone has them, but... one of mine seems to be infected somehow. Unless you've got a running history of knowing what the underside of your tongue looks like, it's very easy to be alarmingly misled by what you see there once you've started down the road of HPV fear. That's what happened to me. I was convinced I had under-tongue warts, even had two of them them electro-cauterized! Come to discover they were just normal skin tissue.

For as long as I can remember, I have had a whitish tongue. I am a 19 year old male, I have never been very good about brushing my teeth, but never have needed major dental work. I have a discoloration on the underside of my penis that goes in a line that covers a fair amount of the underside of my penis. I feel no discomfort from it, and have had it for a while. There is also a very little blackish blueish marks where my legs meet the balls, not that much at all though.
