I have a dilemma. Five years ago I was diagnosed with sever conversion disorder with psuedo seizures . My eeg was normal as well as all other tests as you know.
Lately, I my seizures are getting more frequent and breathing problems is now involved. constant pain in my head with strange visual disturbances. sometimes my seizures are associated with pain in my stomach.
Well, last week they did an other eeg and compared it to mine from five years ago.
My liver seeems to really hurt and i have a burning sensation all over my body, also my tongue is either white all yellow all the time..
i know should b on there but by looking at it, the mods dont seem to be ative on there and i know on here the people are great and there knowledge is good, thanks you for you advice m8

m a 31 year old male and about 5 months ago I noticed 2 bump on the side at the very back of my tongue which can only been seen if I stick it out really far, I went to the doctors because I also had a whiteish or yellow patch on the top of my tongue which they thought was due to gerd (acid reflux) they also mentioned mild thrush and put my on Medican for both (the nystatin did nothing for oral thrush) so they concluded it was acid reflux.
My researching of ventral under toungue comes up as possible cancer etc as it’s more than three weeks. Would tongue cancer start this way or could I just be an infection.
I have read on the internet that sometimes you have to wait 6 months this has obviously made me very anxious again, I have been told my GU Clinic in the UK that 3 months is accurate and there is no evidence to support people's reuslts will change after 3 months. I have been informed 3 months is 100% conclusive and this practice is used all over the world.

Don't know if your reading this stil but I went to ent he looked at it and said this little thing didnt seem to concerned about it and I explained i was worried about oral cancer he said he didn't think it was cancer cause of size and etc but did a biopsy dang that hurt he didn't freeze it he numbed it and used some huge clipper tong things and pulled it out then saturized it ouch i get results in a week still a little worried but he really didn't think it was cancer which helps
Thanks Doctor, I assumed the same with your thoughts about the 7/10 figure but it's on NHS & Macmillan Cancer (major UK Cancer Charity sites) hence the concern. To close this thread it would be appreciate if you could just confirm that the US screening procedure is no more effective than the UK as I wonder if this could explain a higher rate of cervical cancer in the UK and thus the 7/10 prevention figur or are both countried roughly the same in the occurrence of cervical cancer?
My question is, would a saliva hiv test, (at a life insurance screen), which took saliva from under the tongue, be conclusive at 4 months after possible infection? Are these under the tongue type tests accurate? It was negative i assume, since i did get the insurance.

and starting from there i had red dots on my tongue , ulcre all over my mouth , canker sores and white tongue and something like back on my cheek plate like a patch and theres like a line between this patch and the tumer which i can feel by my tongue ! and all these symptoms exist till now

I visited a dr today ENT and he seemd surprised and said CT scan then 2 sec he changed his mind to a MRI face and cheeks !!
after 4 days it wasnt getting better and i had developed exudates on my tonsil, i also had developed a rash on my tongue red blood spots down the side of my tongue that fits with step throat, i was given pen v by the doctor and with 36 hours i was better. Now 4 days post that i have developed a single small ulcer in my mouth under my tongue. I have also noticed some yellow lumps at the end of my tongue however these aren't ulcers and i believe them to be lymphoid aggregates.
It is possible that these nodules are metastases from his base of the tongue cancer. The decision to give or not to give further cancer treatment/s will depend on a lot of things. Consider the age of the patient, risks and benefits of treatment, possible side effects, and end point in making a decision. For now, your father needs the best supportive care he can get.

I had a dosage of 125 mCi, 10 days ago, and a thyroidectomy due to papillary thyroid cancer with tall cells. I was also diagnosed with Breast cancer 3 years ago, and had a double mastectomy with reconstructive surgery and I'm doing fine from that but this thyroid cancer has really thrown me because of the Hashimoto's and the depressed hypo state I'm in I'm finder this cancer harder to cope with. And P.S. .....
Hi I was wondering does anyone know if oral tounge cancer can get smaller i have a small red and white spot on tip of tounge like the size of the tip of a pin, but like a week ago it was the size of a tear drop and was a clear gray color and I could feel more of the bump on my tongue then and know I can barley feel it plus it has never hurt .so I was worried it could be cancer I don't drink and have not smoked in 4 years I only use the e cigg so does any one no if cancer can shrink ?

I have had these white rings near the back of my tongue and one on the tip of my tongue for a few months now. I can scrape them off with a tongue brush but they keep reappearing every morning. They don't change location, they're generally in the same place every time. I thought it might be thrush, but I have had two different doctors run fungal swabs and both came out negative for fungus.
I have a skin coloured bump that has been on the tongue for over a month.
I would definitely have it checked this week. Oral cancer can start out this very way. It could be something less serious but unless it is checked you won't know. Time is of the essence and early detection saves lives. If you use tobacco, or ever have used tobacco it increases the urgency here.
About 2 weeks ago my husband noticed some spots on the side and top of his tongue. They seemed to have gone away then the one on top came back just a few days later pretty much in the same spot. Yesterday another one poped up on the border of his tongue. It seemed to get big fast. It looks like a bare spot with a white border but it not as red as the top spot. Could this be geographical tongue or something more serious like tongue cancer? He did visit the dentist and they feel it's GT.
I have been stressing for two days over this little spot on my tongue which I bit about 4 years ago. I have been terrified to go the dentist, but I do have an appointment tomorrow. This spot has not changed or grown. It just seems like it gets irritated when I'm stressed. It's on the left side of my tongue, it's not on the side, it's on the top. I can see my teeth marks. This spot is perfectly round. I remember cutting away that skin numerous times before.
