Sleep was a major issue for me as well after a 7 year addiction to Vicodin, there is an over the counter medication called zee-quill it's non habit forming and zee-quill worked for me, good luck for making it this far, hang tough you can do this.
You have a vitamin B12 deficiency, and your neurologist seriously needs continuing education courses in cobalamin deficiency. Elevated MMA and Hcy also indicate B12 deficiency. A serum B12 of 300 is in the low-normal range, but this is because the "normal" range for serum B12 is too low. You are symptomatic and need treatment. The book, "Could It Be B12? Have you tried the Alteril? Benedryl? Last night (i am on day 6)... I've been having problems sleeping.. Today I took 2 benadryl and still couldn't sleep , so then I took one alteril.. and prayed and then I finally fell asleep.. I think I'm sorry you are having problems sleeping because I know it is very horrible to not be able to sleep.. I am not the best person to try to help you.. simply because I can't seem to care about anything.. I am so sorry..
That week I treated my cold (mild symptoms) with Day-quill and NyQuil. However, before the week was over, I started to experience coughing, wheezing, shortness of breath. I also have asthma, and I’ve had asthmatic bronchitis before, so it started to feel familiar. The following week, I was consistently short of breath. I went to a walk-in clinic after work (January 28).
My tongue feels better in the morning when I wake up and gets progessively worse throughout the day. It also appears to go in cycles with the end of the cycle being the loss of actual pieces of my tongue. Then it seems to get better for a few days and then it starts all over again. I live in rural Iowa. I went to my family physician who eventually sent me to the ENT specialist who comes to our area on Wednesdays. He thought it might be an allergy to a medication or something.
It is a white-yellowish coating on my tongue, my tongue also has like red bumps at the back of my tongue, scalloped edges and like canker sores in the edges back deeper inside. I find this really scary!
Has anyone seen anything like that before? Is that an ARS symptom?
My other question is. Have you ever seen or have known about a 28 day combo test (4th generation) negative result changing when restesting in the following weeks/months?

Since last few days I am observing that when I get up in the morning my tongue is coated white. I clean the tongue with a tooth brush and the white coating disappears and the tongue remains in natural pink colour throughout the day. Secondly, there is a small crack in the middle forefront of the tongue. My age is 81 years. I am not diabetic and my blood pressure is normal.
I however burned my tongue on listerine 3 weeks ago causing by tongue taste buds to become inflamed (little red dots all over my mouth and painful) it is healing and I had thought that it had gone but I engaged in kissing and oral with a condom on and my mouth is slightly inflamed is there anything here that i put myself at risk from. I am thinking you cant get hiv from kissing - or can u? What else could inflame my tongue again - could it be the condom?
The tip of my tongue taste buds seem to be swollen, itches to the touch and hurts a little if I scrape my teeth on the tongue. Prior to that I used a tongue scraper multiple times to clean my tongue. It has been over 2 weeks now and there are no signs of healing. The tongue feels the same though the rest of the mouth is not that bad like it was before.
I've had a sore tongue for quite a while now and it has been worrying me. I have whitish spots in my tongue and they burn a little bit. It's very uncomfortable. I thought I could have thrush and when I went to the doctor, she didn't think I have thrush and it looks ok, with just a few irritated spots. She gave me a mouth rinse to make it better, but it actually makes it hurt even more, and it usually bothers me more on the side and tip of my tongue.

People who have the condition known as geographic tongue are definitely more likely to experience a white tongue. Geographic tongue simply means a tongue that has lots of grooves and fissures in it, and these grooves and fissures make an excellent breeding ground for the anaerobic bacteria that cause bad breath and a white tongue. The way around this problem is simply making sure that your tongue is kept as clean as possible. However, not all tongue cleaning is created equal....
the other symptom that makes me worry is the twitching in my muscles, in my tongue and pain in my back and arms. I had many appointments with many doctors. I had blood tests, MRI of brain and spinal cord, EKG and all are normal. My vitamins level are too. I am worry if it is AlS with these respiratory and weakness problems but my doctor don't even hear it. He told me that i shouldn't have an EMG because he doesn't see any atrophy.
