My throat is always red, tongue white (I was diagnosed by a doctor that I have Candida on the tongue and palate - but only 7% of it, and I solved it in a week), I started noticing small red bumps on the soft palate and stuff like that.
I didn't had sore throat, it's still red, but it doesn't hurt. Few years ago I was having some issues with sore throat, it happens to me from time to time, but now I don't have a problems with it.
If using your dental device helps, this means that you have to address your tongue in addition to palate/tonsil surgery if you want good results. It's been shown that the UPPP procedure (palate and tonsil removal) works to cure sleep apnea in only 40% of the time. Most of these failures were because of untreated tongue issues. If you have any degree of nasal congestion, that should be addressed as well.
As for the the pain involved with palate surgery, it is painful.

Then i got a tingling sensation on my hard palate about 4 weeks later,the i have had all sorts of Ibs symptoms,have had treatment for oral thrush,my tongue is a pale white coating and also has a tingling sensation ,i have had all tests done from worry and all were negative ,i have an endoscopy in March ,but basically i am asking if anyone has experienced a constant burning tingling sensation in the mouth on the tongue
I started out with an area on the side of my tongue that had a burning sensation, then it spread under my lip and cheek area and across the palate. I have bumps across my palate that do not seem to go away. Some days seem worse than others. I have had basic labs done, a colonoscopy, endoscopy, and swabs to test for thrush and bacteria. Everything comes back normal. They keep saying that it is geographic tongue. I disagree, because my mouth and gums burn. Please give me some advie!
Delivered son in June of 2005, did not go to dentist the entire time I was preg. Finally went to dentist in Nov of 2005. Found out I had gingivitis and some redness on my hard palate. Dentist told me that some underlying medical condition had to be going on. Went to medical doctor had blood work done, blood work came back fine just a little anemic. Was given vitamins for two months. Red spots never went away on hard palate. The spot actually resembles a mouth burn.
When I checked it out, my whole hard palate was white and my soft palate was yellow. There were small red bumps all along the hard palate, and of course, the bump that was previously mentioned, which was the same white color as the rest of my upper palate. As of today it still hasn't gone away, nor has it grown, but I also noticed that the back of my tongue was very white and patchy, which made me think that maybe I had thrush and that had something to do with it.
Back in September I developed a slightly coated white tongue which was painful after a weekend of drinking alcohol. The pain was general on the hard palate (felt like a burn) and the main part of my tongue as well as the edges. There was occasionally bald patches where the papillae appear to be gone. The white material could not be brushed off and there was no bleeding.
Initially got treated for oral thrush, but the medicine did not work.
My question is what are the damages when sucking your thumb and tongue , I suck my thumb and tongue when i'm asleep and awake, and its a habit. i'm scared on what the damages might be. how do i stop sucking my thumb and tongue, is there anything i can buy to put on my thumb or make? its been going on for 2 years now, and i'm getting braces, would it make my mouth worse when i get braces and still suck my thumb and tongue or mess up the braces?
I don’t believe that it has grown either. The middle of my hard palate feels as though there is a bony lump there, and then it also feels as though there is a small lump to the right of it, on the right side of the hard palate as well. I can always feel the lump with my tongue. I’ve tired to see if I can notice it when I look in my mouth but nothing is abnormal. I can’t tell if the lump in the middle are connected or if they are separate lumps.
It started on one spot on the front side of my tongue and it eventually spread across and into the palate and gum area. Some days are worse than others, but none are pain free. The top of my palate has little bumps and also down the back side of my mouth. I also get what appears to be some kind of cankers or oral ulcers. They start as a small white spot and then it gets bigger and bigger each day.

Ive been having a problem where my soft palate is making clicking noise whenever i open my mouth and exhale. This also occurs after I'm done saying a sentence. I tried looking in the mirror with my mouth open while exhaling and it seems as though the soft palate is either being slightly "stuck" or having a prolonged muscle contraction and then relaxing which causes it to click .

t affect me in any way other than they are there. I can push on them with my tongue, and it feels like my mouth is making like a little popping sound when I do. It's not painful to the tongue at all, and a little painful if I push in with my finger.
I don't smoke or drink, and I'm hoping this isn't some type of cancer. I'm really worried about it, and maybe its jsut there from stress.

25 negative) five weeks bulge on the palate 6 week swollen glands in the neck on the left and the jaw and ear pain when moving his head. Also, rhinitis and rhinitis. What sort of surgery could give a woman both an "upturned" (or straight-line) mouth...in the neutral position (as opposed to the down-turned sort, but only has moderate nasolabial folds....AND...a properly defined jawline?
I am in my mid 40's, a little overweight and I have ALWAYS had a down-turned mouth, and NO jawline. It is not something appearing with age.
I was 16, 90lbs and still looked like it was a straight line from the bottom tip of my chin to the base of my neck ....
