Common Questions and Answers about Toddler complaining of leg pain

complaining

Avatar n tn I have a Britax Marathon as well and my son starting complaining of back pain and leg pain about 6 weeks ago. He is 2 1/2 yrs. old. All of these entries seem too coincindental. These kids are all about the same age and all complain of back pain while in their car seats. My son also broke out in a rash around the same timeframe and it still has not healed. The doctors believe it to be unrelated and possibly a form of eczema or impetigo.
Avatar f tn One being in her hips and one being in her back where she is complaining it hurts. Today she is still complaining of the pain. I called the chiropractor and she said it is likely that the back could still be sore from the adjustment. If she continues to complain through the weekend we are going to do a follow up. With that being said we do not have a Brittax we have a Graco My Ride 65. They are close to they same design I believe. She also climbs into our bed in the middle of the night.
6709254 tn?1389303349 Is it too early for me to be having back pain. I'm 2 months. My mom is like it's too early for you to be complaining about your back. But if I stand up for longer than 3 minutes my back starts hurting really bad.
Avatar f tn My 12 year old daughter started complaining yesterday about a shooting pain in the back of her leg from her knee to her ankle. She said it almost feels like a charlie horse but it's been for 2 days now. Please help I do not know what to do.
Avatar f tn My back pain was so severe I was huntched over and it caused me to have a lot of contractions. I thought yep this will make me go into labor but back pain subsided and contractions stopped but I still get them through out the day.
947305 tn?1245804749 I dont remember what they feel like because since 3 yrs old and up I had been complaining of leg pain and doctor after doctor told my mom it was growing pains and it wasnt till I was 17 that I was dxed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritus and put on medication. Just make sure you keep an eye on it and if the docs says it leg pains (which im not saying that it could not be) if you feel thats not right keep digging into it. Good luck!
Avatar n tn My 5 year old has been complaining of pain, the very top of his leg near his genitals. He is limping and complaining for about 2 days. I thought he might have pulled a muscle, but after a few days, i am a little concerned. What could this be? And should I see a pediatrician?
Avatar f tn I've had a huge worsening of the trigeminal neuralgia and occipital neuralgia (zaps and pain in the back of my head and scalp). At times it's just been a continuous series of zaps, they don't last too long, but there will be one after another for 10-15 minutes (or maybe it just seems that long). Then there's the pain in my teeth and jaw, behind my eye, and *ohhh* did I mention the back of my head??? Each "zap" feels like I fell and cracked my head on the cement!
Avatar f tn We went into Urgent Care and the Dr. felt the back of his neck and thought he must have pulled a muscle. It was pin-pointed to the left side of the spinal area. He was given some children's Advil and within 15-20 minutes he was feeling a lot better. We have been home for about 2 hours now and he had not complained of any sort of pain at all. I'm feeling pretty relieved at the moment.

Avatar f tn Cut back on the amount of juice your child drinks, and you may also want to start him/her on a probiotic. I assume you saw a pediatric gastroenterologist? Either way, even if it was the pediatrician who diagnosed your child, they should have offered advice on how to handle it. I know juice is normally the culprit. If your child isn't losing weight, or complaining of stomach pain, then it is just toddler diarrhea.
Avatar f tn ll probably end up with bad back pain near the end of my pregnancy. So my plan is to carry him when I need to, but encourage him as much as possible to walk or crawl when he can.
Avatar m tn my 4 year old daughter has been complaining about her right leg hurting. there is nothing that i can see to indicaite her leg would be hurting. what could it be and should i take to Dr.
Avatar n tn My 7 year old son is complaining of pins and needles and pain in his neck and upper back has anyone got any suggestions as to what this is and what i can do to help him.
Avatar f tn However, 2 yrs ago it started out of the blue when she started complaining of neck pain then woke that night crying that her legs hurt. She couldnt walk flat footed...she walked on her tiptoes and then slid down the stairs on her bum. She eventually went back to bed then the next morning when she woke up she couldn't pee at all. I called the Dr who took it very seriously...she had me take her right in and the 1st thing she did was a neuro exam on her (of course it checked out fine).
Avatar n tn He doesn't have rashing anywhere that I can see. He did run a fever of 100.4 the other night but now he's not running a fever and still complained of knee pain. I felt around on his tummy and he didn't show any indication of pain and hasn't randomly expressed abdominal pain by grabbing his tummy or fussing about not feeling well. Actually, the odd thing to me was that even with his fever, he didn't slow down in his activities.
Avatar n tn My 4 year old daughter has been complaining of both of her legs hurting for about 2 weeks. She sleeps through the night but screams and cries when she first gets up in the morning and throughout the day! It's not all the time, it comes and goes! She can be sitting down or running around when this happens! I've researched RLS and growing pains and they both say that those happen while you are asleep! What else could be going on?
Avatar f tn My 3 yr old granddaughter was complaining of a stomach ache. She had a fever and after it continued was taken to the ER. They did a urinalysis & said she had hematuria and to see a pediatrician. The next night she woke up several times during the night crying that she had a backache. She has an appt with the pediatrician on Friday but I'm worried something is going on that should be checked out before then.
533880 tn?1237612452 and he asked if she had any leg pain/swollen legs...and the funny thing about it was that she has been complaining about her legs lately. She doe snot want to walk anywhere..what does leg pain have to do with stomach problems?
Avatar m tn Just recently she has been complaining with burning sensation in her hands but today she was complaining about a dead feeling in one of her legs. She says it is stone cold. She will not let me get the doctor. Is there anything I can do to help her.
Avatar f tn I took her to see her doctor and they did blood test that came back normal, they also did x-rays of her leg and hips, since then she has gone down hill. It is not just her right leg any more, at night she can't bend the right knee and can't unbend her left knee. She is now complaining that her arms and hands hurt and she can't squeeze things tightly.
Avatar f tn Im really enjoying being pregnant, but I have those days too!! I have back ache, leg cramps, stuffy nose, gas and Struggling to get out of a chair and everything that goes with it! I definitely have those feelings! Im 29 weeks now seems like the last stretch is the longest!
1656393 tn?1302146173 I am a father of twin boys (4yrs old) and one of my sons has been complaining of "terrible headaches" off and on almost daily for a few weeks now. He also says his legs are getting tired easily. Took him into the pediatrician and he said he checks out fine. What concerns me (probably just the dad in me jumping to conclusions) is that I had a chiari malformation and have had four surgeries over the last ten years.
