I was told it was too early to tell for herpes and HIV. When is a good timeframe to go (ive heard 12 to 16 weeks for herpes). Ive set up an STD appointment in 2 weeks (would be 13 weeks since risky behavior at this point). I was shaving my public region (so doctor can clearly see area approx. 3 weeks ago, accidently "nicked" a fordyce spot with razor on my foreskin, which subsequently "grew" so i popped it, squeezing it hard and then scraped it with my nail.
For me it was the first day I woke up and didn't take anything.
Don't try to calculate half days or something like that, it gets confusing.
Though initially I didn't cound the hours after last dose.
So if I took my last on a Sunday at 4:00 pm I would say to my self at 8:00am Monday that I was 16 hours clean. That was just in the begining though, by Wednesday I was just saying 3 days clean.
he has lost so much weight he is skin and bones itchy skin all the time food does not process, always tired, but cant sleep unless he is passed out some swelling in stomach and feet extreme swelling, enlarged veins in his arms and legs, high blood pressure extreme mood swings, angry for no reason and he refuses to go to the doctors or get help so i am left to just wait and watch. anybody with any knowledge of a time frame of how long he can go on like this please reply.
I should clarify the part about the lesions; the were not clustered but were small, red and pimple like. They healed on their own, not lasting more than a week.
After d & e for medical reason, why is it advised to wait a few months to try to conceive? What risks are there prior to waiting 3 months?

I am starting to feel sick being on the NuvaRing. I have been on it for almost a year with perfect use. I want to take it out, but I had unprotected sex on Wednesday night. I don't want to get pregnant, but I heard that sperm can live in a woman's body for up to a week! Should I wait a week from the last time I had sex to take it out? Or am I good to take the ring out tomorrow morning? Any advice would be great because at this point I just want it OUT! Thank you!
i was test for stds on 6/1/11 and came back positive for gonorrhea and negative for all other stds. i was given cipro and flaygl for bacterial on 6/7. i then started having anal burning and ithing and went back to the doctor which they beleived i had an allergic reaction to the flaygl (im allergic to diflucan as well). still having symptoms and they said it was yeast and gave me nystatin for the anal area and terconazol for vaginal.
He didn't tell me what time to test post exposure. I just want to know if i should get tested now or not.

It is normal for antibiotics to take more than 3 days to work? Doctor said, I should feel better by Sunday, but it is Monday, and inflammation is still present(not as bad as Friday, but still great discomfort).

I am experiencing every symptom and wonder how long? I am so lethargic, depressed, tired, achy, sniffles, sneezing, shaking, vomiting, stomach cramps, chills, fever, the pain I was taking them for also, unable to sleep (but tired), short tempered, angry, frustrated, sweating, diarrhea, hopeless, crying on and off, freezing then hot, etc.

My EP said the thinking used to be that the dental work would introduce bacteria into the bloodstream that could come to rest on a floppy valve and cause more problems. I've taken antibiotics most of my life for dental work because of a slight mitral valve regurge. According to the EP, recent studies show that the same amount of bacteria is in the bloodstream after a meal. Antibiotics also interfere with Warfarin, or perhaps Vitamin K, if memory serves.
