Sometimes i feel a current in my back but not frequently. Is this pain in the groin and foot, Anxiety? Somatization of the disease? Is a thyroid neuropathy? And how it can be controlled. All the issues started few months after a tonsil surgery at 12 and i had a sort of nerves attack a couple of hours after this surguery. I developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in my left wrist few years ago, low right back and right leg pain that improved with the homone treatment.

Th last two months I've had groin pain. Was ent home 3 days in a row because of it as had to lie down as couldn;t sit or stand. As the groin pain has settled it;s apparent my testicles, prostate and urehtra are swollen. The GenitoUrinary Docor ssuggested to get my kidneys, liver and endocrine system checked by my own Doc. What kind of doctor are you seeing? If your problems are initiating in your thyroid. It would be helpful to see an endocrinologist. They are better equipped to deal with those type of issues. With that being said. There are also less invasive tests that you could have done. Instead of more surgeries. You could have a PET scan done. OR more commonly for thyroid issues...a thyroid uptake with is done with radioactive I131. What did your pathology report actually say?

and they are trying to do an important job to protect your thyroid from being attacked..and while they are protecting the thyroid, they swell up. .They are trying to stand in the way of the body attacking it's own thyroid. When people are ill, the lymph nodes swell up as a way of protecting the body... I cant give u exact details on how/why the swelling of the lymph nodes protects the body, but u can look this up online.

Hello, I have thyroid multi-nodular goiter, normal lab work but with complex & solid nodules. The one time they tried to biopsy in Aug 2010, the Endo hit something he shouldn't have & I ended up with a massive hematoma in ICU. Due to that incident, they didn't want to touch me for about 5 months so I could properly heal. While waiting, I had CT's, MRI's & US's which showed 4 enlarged lymph nodes around the thyroid that have not went away.
