some may be due to the food you eat or the way your body processes it, or maybe
your body simply produces an excess of cholesterol. Make sure
your thyroid levels are optimal, though, because if they aren't, you could have an ongoing issue with cholesterol.
Everyone reacts differently to medications, maybe you need to try a different one? I keep my cholesterol pretty much in check via exercise. That's walking for a minimum of an hour/day, plus other physical activity.
