Its like Its stuck in my throat and I try to cough it out but I end up throwing everything up including my food. Very Not pleasant. But it wasn't as bad as it is now. Now Its happening twice every other week, to every week. The last time I was on medication for Sinusitis that my doctor gave me, and I threw up more mucus then food. I was looking up Sinusitis and Its supposed to have nasal inflammation and I do not have that, but I cough up mucus every day always after I eat.
Hello. Two weeks ago I caught what I believed to be the flu.....and I've never had the flu. I started out feeling fine the day prior, developed a little bit of a dry cough. I figured it was just a cold so I took a little vitamin C and I figured I'd be better the following morning. I was so wrong. The next day I had a fever, my head was pounding like it never has before, and my body ached so much so that I didn't want to move. I was in bed for 2-3 days.
I have had the same symptoms for over 3 months! I have been to a doctor and he said I had asthma. I told him that's impossible, bc I have no family history of asthma and I have never had respiratory problems. After an x-ray, he said my lungs were clear and healthy, so he ruled out asthma and chalked it up to allergies (which I also have never had a history of.) He sent me on my way with a prescription for Claritin and Albuterol inhaler.
I thought I was getting better, but then nasal congestion came, stuffy nose, runny nose. Then came a really bad cough that would wake me up in the night. It would be a tickle that would trigger it. I had green thick sticky mucus. Then about a couple of days ago, I had that tickle cough, but like a coughing attack episode. And It would be extreme thick clear sticky mucus, to the point of throwing up.

I'm 22 years old and a smoker (not sure if that matters) but for awhile now (a year or so) i will throw up what I'm guessing is bile. it is lime green in color and comes out very "watery" and "mucus" like. It happens right when i wake up and take a shower. after i brush my teeth i get extremely nauseous and throw this "substance" up, it last all of about 10 min. I feel fine before and after.
OK so I have been coughing for 3weeks.. And now its so bad that I'm throwing up mucus n lots of it.. Ughhhh I can't breath while I'm coughing its like my airway is completely blocked! I've tryd tea with honey and lemon, cough drops even robitussin..
I have had excessive mucus in the back of my throat for a while now and it is really getting annoying. It's not in my lungs or in my chest, it is just in my throat. I have to cough it up (more like a hocking sound) all the time and it is disgusting and ANNOYING. I have never had allergies in my life and never any big disease problems at all. This thing is just annoying and I am wondering what in the world could be causing it. The mucus is clear with no blood or anything--just clear.
For the past 4 years I have been coughing up clear jelly like Mucus Balls. I have been a smoker for 8 years, and I have Asthma. I wake up in the morning and in the middle of the night coughing up a lot of the little mucus balls. It happens a little bit through out the day. Sometimes they are balls and sometimes they are like a hair, but made of mucus. I am very scared and do not have health insurance. I am 25, and thought I was pretty healthy. Please someone, HELP!
Im 20 weeks along , and I've been super sick . I have a real bad cough and mucus , and haven't been able to eat or drink anything with out throwing it up . So I was wondering if anyone could suggest a cold medicine or something I could do that could help .

Dr. Mark Lupo's response is wrong....it could be your thyroid. I have recently been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and I too have a reoccuring tickle in my throat that leads to unbelievable coughing that in most times leads to an amazing amount of spit and white mucus that I'm throwing up....while at work it's the worst, especially since I'm several yards from the restroom. When I feel the tickle, I run because I know what's about to go down.
been coughing for a couple of weeks little bit of fever very tired went to a walk in clinic a couple of days ago and the Doctor said it was mostly allergies gave me antibotics,congestion,cough syurp,nasal spray....this morning when I woke up I was coughing up blood in my phlegm the first 3 times then it cleared up....
Has anybody check your sinuses? I have polyps in my sinus which cause congestion and post nasal drip. I'm running to the bathroom frequently to cough up mucus from my throat. You could try using a neti pot and see if your symptoms will improve at all. Acid reflux is also capable of giving you a sore throat and cough.
I'm 20 weeks and I just threw up and at the same time cough really hard. I so scared now that I probably think i hurt him...you know when you start coughing so hard that than you feel throwing up. It hurt my stomach so much like in the bottom. Has anyone ever happen to them. Or someone you know.
