is it comen to be throwing up a lot when you have a kidney stone you are trying to pass

I've thrown up streaks of blood before but this morning I threw up stomach bile and then just straight blood. Is that normal?

Hi, im sorry to hear about your troubles. I dont have kidney stones, but I had gallstones, and I cerntainly threw up. Sometimes when the body is in a lot pain, your stomache gets upset. Sorta like the reason you arent allow to eat while you are in labor, because your body is in pain, and it can make you throw up. I have never heard of it giving you a fever though. She said i have kidbey stones that i have to let pass and ive never been in such pain.. i was throwing up pisssing my pants and experiencing the kidney stones all at once. she gave me painkillers and im waiting for them to pass.. has anyone else had an experience with being preg with kidney stones??

I had kidney stones with my first and never peed blood..got kidney stones again this pregnancy was peeing blood they said bladder infection but I ended up in hospital 3 days later with kidney stone attack so I either had both or was trying to pass stones..I would call my doctor so they can get a urine sample while you are peeing the blood out..

I wake up with extreme lower back pain middle to the back to lower back after an hour of walking around I feel better I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago the only did a urine analysis that I had moderate amount of blood in my urine said had kidney stone but I don't think I do i can't go back to doctor yet anyone have a clue

The symptoms that took me to the doctor were concentrated urine and I was nauseas or actually throwing up with nausea without any real reason....thinking it was the flu, but after day 7 was sure it was something else. I was given cipro just in case it was a UTI, and was told to drink drink drink....and after a few days it all stopped.....so I don't really think there is any accurate way of knowing wihout the CT scan.

My 11 lb male Toy poodle is throwing up blood. Its mixed with yellow bile and some times its light red ,or orange. he wants to eat grass then throws up. Hes eating regularly, drinks water, plays is his normal self but has been throwing up blood every few days now. It was every day until a friend who is a vet tech told me to try worm medicine. now hes throwing up less frequently but still is. Im worried about him. m not going to be 100% positive on it, but if your son drank cranberry juice (lots of it) check into the effects of the oxalates(in cranberries) and the calcium(in your urine) building up to possibly form kidney stones, the last question on the linked page will be helpful if that's the case. http://www.uti-cleanse.com/faqs.php If not, the doctors could be just concerning about kidney infection due to the bladder infection which can get very serious.

Yesterday my midwife told me I have probably have Kidney stones because my kidney hurts really bad and I have blood in my urine. She didnt run any tests or anything and honestly shes rather rude and just doesnt care about anything you have to say. I had a really bad kidney infection in January that got to where I couldnt eat for 2 weeks, couldnt drink, had a fever, it was awful. Im pretty sure thats what I have now.

and that theres no interior bleeding from the stone..watch colors of stools ifd there black or throwing up a substance like coffy grounds get to ther er asap..a stone this big can cause major infection or bleeding..and if on narcotics for pain can also cause more irritation..

My doctors tell me that i should not be having pain when the stones are still in the kidney. I also have blood in my urine and have had two clear CTs ... I saw a nephrologist today and he is wanting to do a 24 hour urine sample to figure out why i have blood in my urine. I will keep you posted on what happens with me.. but it is good to hear that someone else is having the same problem i am beginning to feel crazy haha!

I'm 28 wks and I've had multiple kidney stones since I was 10 wks. I passed them...I have had one now for close to two months and it won't pass. There is not much they can do when pregnant. I take pain meds when it gets way painful and drink tons and tons of water!

Then you either have a bladder infection or kidney stones or kidney infection..didn't you post earlier that you thought you had one of those?

The last surgery I had was in 2006. I also have had/have kidney stones in my left kidney, I passed a 13mm one in June 2006. i have been to see my gp a month ago with kidney stones, painfull cramps ,the pain has gone but im passing alot of blood when i urinate and it also stings when i urinate which is about 20 times a day im male and 29 years old any help please

Hello! Having experienced both gall bladder problems and kidney stones, I'd bet you passed a kidney stone ...Before this happens again, go to your doctor and get a urine screen funnel...When you have another episode, if it is like the two you have had before, drink as much water as you can hold down, (this flushes the bugger out), and urinate through the screen...this will catch any stones that come out...If your pain continues, get to the emergency room!

In February I underwent two surgeries to get rid of 10 stones. Stones sitting in your kidney can cause kidney infections. Your best bet is to see the urologist and take care of those stones. Good luck to you!

I have Sjogren's syndrone and develop kidney stones often and they usually pass on their on. I had one crushed three years ago. I now have one that is so large with smaller ones lodged inbetween it that have blocked of my right kidney (seen in a CT scan today). I do not want to go through the crushing again.....what are other procedures? Would like to be prepared before talking to urologist.

For me, I'd get pings and pangs in my kidney as well as microhematuria (blood you cannot see by eye) in my urine when I have stones. I've also had the flank pain you describe .. for me it's been in the lower back. I hope with lots of water your stones move out for you uneveventfully. Please keep in touch. Last summer, I had blood in my urine and the dr sent me to have ultrasounds, c scans all normal, few small kidney stones. I started having extreme pain and it ended up being shingles awful pain. Long story short.. I keep seeing blood in my urine more and more frequently. I have no pain, could this blood in urine have anything to do with the hep C? Thank you all.

i have groin pain, addo pain and pain in my back all on left side i also suffer from severe case of bile acid malabsorption, doctors think kidney stones awaiting ultra sound. im in agony.
