I looked down and there was actually blood in the bowl where I was thowing up in. Anyone think I should be super worried. I have a hernia, so they say on top of the gallstone that he took out and then the 2nd surgery to correct some of the first one. I'm feeling ok today, just tired as normal but I figured that is due to the fentanyl patch since I've only been on it for a couple of weeks. But I didn't know how worried I should be about this? What do you guys think?
I took her outside and she did her business, but nothing our of the ordinary there. Her stool was firm and no blood in that. She urinated without any problem. The only odd thing is that usually when she's sick she pulls hard on the leash toward the high grasses and all she wants to do is eat grass. The odd thing is that she showed no desire to eat grass this time.
She came back in the house and went to bed. She's sleeping now. Thoughts?
re dehydrated and really straining to vomit..but this morning as usual I got up to get sick and there was like blood mixed in with my bile, not just strings like I get once in a while ...is this normal ? It really didn't feel normal, I don't feel any different or anything but I don't want to call my Dr if it's nothing to be concerned with, any advice?
Prior to throwing up I drank maybe 12 ounces of water. The blood was, in my estimate, a few ounces in volume. It also came out of my nose which was fairly odd to me. Did I just tear something or does it indicate something more serious? I'm sure I drink more than some but less than most. It might be worth mentioning that I also drink alot of water - at least 64 ounces of water during the day. Any ideas?

Well i have been throwing up a lot these past weeks and he said i could of broke a blood vessel and that's why it happened.

I am a male in mid-thirties. I have been producing (red) blood in my stool in varying degrees for the past two years. Its never black and its always fresh and on the ends of the stool. Sometimes its there and sometimes not. This week however the ammount of blood present has almost doubled and I have passed a couple of clots (deep red) one the size of my thumb.
There is no pain or notable constipation. My only other unexplained symptom is being very tired a couple of times a week.
First of all determine if it could be something you are eating that your body isn't completely digesting. Blood from high up will turn your stool black. Any change in bowel habits should be evaluated, but look at your diet first.

I feel that my bowel movements have become more frequent and sometimes there is blood in stool but it is almost always i find blood when i whip. the stool is sometimes dark sometimes light and sometimes an orange colour and sometimes a yellow colour. but it always is a foul smell. I don't know what to do. sometimes i feel the blood is occurring more frequently it has been happening for sometime now possibly a month or so.
Today, curiosity finally pulled me to see what my bowls had been up to, and when I peered in the toilet, after a somewhat uncomfortable experience, and noticed my stool had a colour that was far too red too be normal. The blood was mixed in with some fecial matter, but there was also some that, other than the fact the it wasn't solid, was normal.
