4654011 tn?1357643122 Any moms out there already have the bedding or moms who have suggestions from their first baby on the best type of bedding and mattress. I have a crib already but, I'm just not sure about the rest of it. Ftm lol and still trying to figure out everything he needs too.
8593574 tn?1398970803 Got my crib really early. My in laws bought it for us and set it up and bought the mattress. Mattress hasn't been taken out of the plastic wrap cover and I just bought the mattress cover. I wish it wasn't set up so early but I have no say. Basically it's just put together and we end up throwing our stuff in it.
Avatar f tn I have been waking up for the past 4 dayz with this headache and today I have just been burning up wat can b wrong! !!
Avatar n tn from home depot and put it under your sheets, this will prevent any body fluids from getting in to your mattress. Then when the 7 days are up, you can wash the sheets and throw the plastic away. Ask your doctor, he will know best, the radiation standards for RAI have changed in the last several years.
Avatar m tn It might be your mattress. Try sleeping on the couch, or in a different bed if you can, and see if your symptoms continue. I think it's recommended that you get a new mattress every 8 years, or something like that. It's worth a try!
1533382 tn?1357962152 It can happen anywhere else for me but there's just something about my bed.
2095738 tn?1339825243 This might be a little silly of a question coming from someone that already has 2 kids but I've never used a crib before. Just bassinets and pack n plays until a year old, then toddler beds. Well I set one up today and the mattress doesn't fit how I'd like it to. There's a gap on every end unless I push it against one side, then there's a good 2inches left on one side, maybe 3. Is that normal? Should I push it against a rail and roll a blanket to fill in the gap?
Avatar f tn It causes me incredible pain in my hips to sleep on my side and I eventually roll over to my back just to get some sleep. Plus I wake up stiff and in pain in the morning. There is no way that we can afford to buy a new mattress. My questions are this: Are there any suggestions on what I can do? Is there a cheaper alternative then buying a whole new mattress? Should I try a different body pillow. When in your pregnancy did you find you HAD to sleep on your side?
Avatar n tn As you can imagine this carpet is not good for my health. I often wake up with sinus problems. I would prefer not to sleep on a bed, but am open to it if I can not resolve it some other way. My first thought is to cover the area I lie on with some sort of covering that separates me from the carpet. I am told the air near the ground will still be the problem, however.
4456535 tn?1355894638 I've had that for weeks now!

4182046 tn?1355820039 Lmbo I had a boyfriend who snored extremely loud I had been dealing with a toothache and the medicine didn't start working til late that night so just as I was getting some rest he comes over he fell asleep and omg I tried waking him putting sock in his mouth I was in tears cause I had waited all day and night for some rest it was his first and last time spending the night Lol glad my baby daddy doesn't do that
Avatar f tn t seem to think that having it in their home, smoking around it in the living area until we picked it up was a bad idea. It was also full of baby clothes that have picked it up. So now we have a smelly bassinet mattress, bassinet and baby clothes. I've washed the clothes twice and managed to get them perfect but the bassinet and mattress is doing my head in. I would prefer not to have to buy a new one as I'm getting induced in the next week but if I have to I will..
Avatar f tn I'm 31.5 weeks and I've yet to find I have to sleep on my side. I just personally sleep however I'm comfortable. (mostly on my stomach and half a side) I've often woke up on my back in the middle of the night as well. (I did that this morning actually) Try stuffing pillows behind your back and lean on them. It's a nice alternative to sleeping on your back and is relativly comfortable.
Avatar f tn m glad to hear that other women have thought of this too. My husband hates sleeping on a mattress pad, so I took a waterproof crib mattress pad and put it under the fitted sheet on my side of the bed. Hopefully, that will provide sufficient protection!
Avatar f tn ) its super soft and comfortable AND its water resistant :)
4437866 tn?1388119624 St Vincent de Pauls has new mattress and box springs.
384896 tn?1335294331 It sounds like you were on either a form of vicoden or norco (norco is a pretty bright yellow oval/oblong shaped pill). it's what I take currently for back pain when my dr's aren't being lazy w/calling in the prescription (i'm monitored... of course) Norco is strong, 10mg hydrocodone and 350 tylenol.. I take 2 at a time (prescribed dose) Motrin didn't do **** for me.
Avatar f tn I agree probably before and throw out your mattress that had the bed bugs
4254325 tn?1355663975 I always tried to hold it in, I hated throwing up, but it was better to throw up then hold it in all the time. At least you are trying to feel better if you throw up, holding just made me feel worse. I hope you get over this soon. Maybe call the doctor and get on some meds.
Avatar f tn If I can get the throw up out I will be fine but nothing will come
Avatar f tn Invest in some antacids. Personally Tums do just fine for me (: also laying on your left side!
Avatar f tn If you throw up constantly then most likely you will rupture a vein in your throat. I did it with both pregnancies. The won't do anything about it. It's not a health concern apparently. They will just try to prescribe you meds to help with nausea.
