throw up in infants

Is it normal that im past my first trimester & I still throw up A LOT? Is their anything I can do?

When did the vomiting stop? I'm 14 weeks and still throwing up daily.

You sound very dehydrated, especially if your throwing up bloody bile. I threw up so much I actually threw up both the lining in my stomach snd esophagus. Very painful. I finally broke and went to the er, and they told me the first or 2nd time I saw blood I shouldve come in to get it under control.

So I'm throwing up almost everyday my moms says its allergies but it started in winter and my only allergy is pollin so the throw up is stuff like normal just small but it's getting bigger like the one where u must stop get a trash can or toilet and be there for a while someone help idk what's happening.

I've had that for weeks now!

Is there anything I should do in the interim to help better this problem? We are scheduled to follow up again in October, would you suggest anything different? Thanks.

When my 1 month old went in for his 2 week check up the doctor told me that quivering is completely normal. She didn't say why exactly though. Just a call to the pedi and I'm sure they'll explain. Honestly, in my opinion, babies are so wrapped up in this new world, all the new things going in for them, that a little cold (virus) hardly slows them down. it could be your baby is behind because she doesn't feel well all the time, and THAT is holding her back. Maybe not, but in either case I would push for them to figure it out. Chalking it all down to a virus is a lazy, sorry excuse. My point is, YOU DO know your child more than anyone.

I feel Gerd and milk allergy are grossly overdiagnosed in infants. Lactose overload has been diagnosed in breast-fed infants now - and I believe it is also found in babies.

just had my 2 year old at the drs for a check following a fever and told him I'd used calprofen ( children's ibuprofen ) initially when trying to bring his temperature down. He hit the roof!!! He said ibuprofen is proven to cause kidney damage and should NOT be made for children at all, he's on quite a mission to ban it. Just thought i'd let you guys know. fortunately, i'd only given my lad 2.

Anything I eat since two days ago, I've been either throwing up or I wake up and throw up stomach acid since I didn't eat until a few hours prior.. they gel you pregnancy is beautiful but don't tell you the downers.. 10 weeks in 2 days :( only a fourth of the way there ... Don't know what to do.. I eat and want to throw up.

I always tried to hold it in, I hated throwing up, but it was better to throw up then hold it in all the time. At least you are trying to feel better if you throw up, holding just made me feel worse. I hope you get over this soon. Maybe call the doctor and get on some meds.

I'm glad I saw this post - I have 2 bottles of infants tylenol in the cupboard. I almost gave some to DS last night (he's got a cough thing going on...). Guess I get to throw it all away and buy more...

That infants can be born with teeth . I was just visiting a friend who had her baby 3 weeks ago and was holding him and noticed he had a tooth . I asked her and she said he was born with it . I was so blown away I couldn't believe it . She said the doctors that they haven't seen this happen in over 17 years . I swear I'm not lying , I did not know a newborn could be born with a tooth .

I put her in her chair to give her her last dose an she laughed at tried to eat it again, but she did breathe in some of it. I'm definitely going to try your suggestion though! You're such a lifesaver, thank you so much!

my daughter is 3 months old ,she has been passing mucus in stools for about 4 weeks now and some times there are spots of blood in the mucus ,I took her to the doc but not found the cause yet

Not true they test you an baby further more some doctors test at regular checkups so he may already know.

My son (will be 3 in June) is doing the same thing. He had a few random vomiting episodes in the month of February. His actions do not involve sticking his hands into his mouth though. Of course this alarmed me in the beginning and I assumed he was sick, but then he'd be fine. I'm realizing it happens mostly during mealtimes. Last week, everyone in my family had a stomach virus and we were all throwing up.
