Common Questions and Answers about Throw up after eating calories

throwing-up

Avatar f tn t really matter the calories as to how much I eat or what I just often feel sick after eating. I want to start making a routine of calories and start there. How many calories is bare minimal for a 100 woman to maintain a healthy life?
Avatar f tn d burn more calories quicker that way) but I got so nauseous I would throw up and shake all over and my head would spin and throb. I changed to eggs (or something similar) and the low-blood-sugar symptoms completely cleared up. Worth a try!
Avatar f tn So I'm only almost 7 weeks pregnant & my mom keeps telling me I have to eat more cause I'm feeding for 2 now but I eat as much as I can before feeling full . I'm a ftm & I'm not sure if I should make my self eat more I mean I don't want to force my self to eat more then throw up .
Avatar f tn Good way to do this is drinking lots of broth, soups, etc. your blood sugar may be cycling up and down, which may suggest eating a way that reduces the cycling. To do this, eat low carb diet, moderate protein and balance of calories from fat. Stabilizing your blood sugar will likely help the ups and downs you are experiencing after eating.
Avatar n tn d like to get between 125-130lbs. i am still eating healthy staying between 1200-1300 calories a day, taking vitamins, getting moderate exercise, i have a 2 year old! ha! i want to join a gym but can't afford it and it's hard to get outside around my neighborhood. any helpful ideas would be VERY much appreciated. i'm trying to get to my goal weight by april for a wedding we're going to and lots of people i will see that i haven't seen in years.
Avatar f tn Sounds like you body is where it needs to be. Don't abuse it. Eat well, but eat enough. Exercise, but don't overdo it. Start loving yourself and your body enough to want to be healthy. You'll feel better, look better, think better. You should be eating no less than 1200 calories a day. So triple what you're eating. 400 calories a day may lead to rapid weight loss, but what you're losing is water and muscle.
Avatar f tn I just try to keep my fluids up by drinking water. If you have been eating soup thats great! Opt for something that is full of vegetable so you get plenty of vitamins and minerals to keep you going. As Sami said you dont need any extra calories in thw first trimester so as long as you are eating enough soup to sustain yourself everything will be fine :) the nausea should subside by the second trimester, which is when you need the extra calories, so I hope foe your sake this feeling aleviates!
Avatar f tn I still throw up all the time at 28 weeks. I lost 4,lbs in the beginning and I gained that back plus 2 lbs. Its ok. My baby is completely healthy. Your nausea can go away soon and you'll be fine.
Avatar f tn Hi guys I have been loosing 1-2 pounds a week , on weekends il have a treat meal and back healthy eating on a Monday , after the weekend I seem to gain a few pounds and this takes all week to go back to my original weight , is this normal ?
Avatar n tn I eat very healthy (1200-1500 calories/day) run/exercise 4-5 days a week. right now I have a 5 mile day, two 4 mile days, a 3 mile day, and a day of 45 minutes on the elliptical. I sprinkle ab and arm workouts in there as well. on September 28th I weighed 153.4 lbs and a month later (today) I weighed 156.4 lbs. How is it that I have gained 3 lbs in one month with the eating and fitness schedule I am on??
Avatar f tn Invest in some antacids. Personally Tums do just fine for me (: also laying on your left side!
Avatar f tn I would suggest that you start with a food diary to keep track of what you are eating, since we often end up eating more calories in a days time than we think: that little piece of chocolate for a "pick me up", the spoonful of sugar in the coffee, the extra butter on the bread, etc............But if you are writing down everything that goes in your mouth, including the catsup on your fries, etc, you can see just what's happening. Drinking lots of water can also help.
Avatar m tn Are the calories you're counting within a reasonable limit? Maybe your current target is a bit high. Of those calories, how much are saturated fats? Maybe you're eating very few calories, but not necessarily of the best type. What type of exercise 30 minutes a day? Maybe you can stretch that to 45' - or if it's only cardio, throw in some weight training before that. Also: have you given it enough time?
Avatar n tn When people feel occasionally sick after eating, they may throw up or try to, to rid their body of the harmful food. It's not forceful, but more like a "get me to the bathroom or I'll spew all over you." If you're doing it all the time, and you can control when you throw it up (like you can make it to the bathroom and stick your finger down your throat to make yourself throw it up) then it's something deeper. It could be in your head. It could be an eating disorder.
Avatar n tn Calories aren't the most important factor in weight or fat -- metabolism of the foods you're eating are. If you eat a lot of simple carbs, such as white flour or sugar, it will store as fat quickly if not burned off immediately, and the first place it goes is to the belly. You might want to find a chart that tells you how fast foods are metabolized into sugar and avoid the ones that do this the quickest.
Avatar f tn And im so worried im gunna be fat after ive given birth or even got so used to the ammount of eating ill carry on :(
Avatar f tn Anyone else feel sick or throw up? I've been feeling sick alot afterwards but tonight I actually did throw up alot. Gahhh -.- is it just me?
5601615 tn?1383450616 I started feeling like this around 34/35 weeks and I'm still like that at 38 weeks. I've lost some pounds but my Dr isn't worried about it. I feel terrible but when I eat I can only take 2/3 bites before I wanna throw up because I'm in so much pain (back pain with contractions) and it *****! But I guessing its more normal.
Avatar f tn Do any of you ladies ever throw up directly after you eat your food, like it doesn't even get down good. If so do you eat right after since the baby didn't get much of what you ate or you wait?
Avatar n tn s very hard for women to add to our bodies. MAYBE a pound in a 3 or 4 wk span. Help! Do i need to up the calories, do more exercise, perhaps more rest time? Thanks!!
Avatar f tn I need to go to school for a week to be able to get back to a regular school and i really want to go back, but this throwing up is making it impossible to go 5 days a week. I also throw up right after i get to school as well as right after lunch. I throw up about 7-8 times a day. Sometimes ill throw up five times in a row. I already threw up three times this morning and I feel wonderful (not). This is becoming the norm for me and I'm worried it won't change until i change schools.
1179375 tn?1296662480 Be sure that there are no other hidden calories that may be hindering your results because honestly, a little here and a little there does add up quickly. It takes discipline to be stingy with your calorie intake, but it is 100% worth it. For weight loss, a disciplined diet's best friend is exercise. Put the two together and that's when you'll really notice an improvement.
Avatar n tn Hello, I'm 5 weeks, one day today and am wondering whether or not it's too soon to begin increasing calories. I read that rather than "eating for 2", women are supposed to take in (on average) an additional 300 calories per day. So, I am curious if it's too early to begin doing that. Any thoughts? Thanks!
Avatar f tn So, in the months after my doctors had me eating at least 3000 calories a day until I reached 120. Sounds like a ton I know, but an underweight body needs all the nourishment it can get. The calories you're eating aren't nearly as much as what your body is burning every day. This deficit means you'll be loosing weight, and slowing your metabolism down. Your body is like a car, it needs fuel to function properly, otherwise, it will shut down. So EAT UP!
Avatar m tn The whole week I ended up only eating 3000-4000ish calories because of the nausea, no pain, 2 normal bowel movements 1 diarrhea week 3: Came home very dehydrated and huge deficit in calories, I went from 165 to 145lbs. The next 2 days I had diarrhea which I thought was a good sign because maybe whatever is in me is getting cleaned out. I rehydrated myself drank some ensure shakes ate rice and got back on my feet.
