I hear it's possible for stress/anxiety to cause ulcers and breakouts. But it sounds like you should follow up with a doctor, a different one maybe, one you can demand/request a test from so that you don't have to worry about having HIV.
i just want to know if stress can cause ulcers. for how long is one supposed to be stressed to have ulcers. for the last 3 months i have been so stresed up(due to hiv exposure) to the point of taking antiacids-relcer gel and actals. i have been having this wierd feeling in the stomach, like burning which come out to the throatCancer - throat or larynx

back at the beginning of April this year I had a sore throat, I looked and saw I had a few ulcers/blisters in the back of my throat, I have never had these before, and they weren't there previous to that, I had just come off Omeprazole which I had been taking for acid reflux, and had been on them for 9 weeks.I had also just come off Yasmin contraceptive pill that i had been taking for around 8 years.
We have the same sores and the same occurrence of them, but I am also getting the throat ulcers and he is not. In addition, I have noticed that I have had tonsilloliths for sometime, and I'm thinking that my tonsils are harboring some kind of bacteria or something. I've also wondered if it's possible that participating in oral activities could have made them occur more frequently on the throat.
i was a bit sceptical, he offered to do a strep throat test but he didnt think it was strep throat as my throat is fine, so we didnt do the test.
However over the last 3 days i have developed red areas on the inside of my lips and also above my upper teeth, not red around my teeth but further up. its also quite inflamed. i still have the sores at the back of my throat but my toncit area is now also red. im worried of gingervitis (sorry abou that spelling!
He did find 2 ulcers, but no answer about lump in throat. The first doc. told me I might have anxiety, or stress and put me on clonopin, I have been on clonopin for two years. I have had all types of test done, with no result. I know this lump is real, but I feel like no one can understand and no answers.
I got fully tested for all STI's including HIV almost 2 months ago. During that time I was sleeping with my "bf" unprotected but was routinely getting tested and even tested after our relationship ended. I was negative. On November 16, due to the efforts to cough I bleed a little bit. I noted dry throat and oral ulcers. And thrush (candida). I had my duo test for hiv and sifilis after 29 days from my first exposure being negative. The synthomps remain. I read that oral ulcers and thrush is connected with HIV. Could be other StD? I am in panic.

I first noticed these ulcers when I had a sore throat 3 months ago. I went to my GP and he told me they were either due to a viral or bacterial infection and would go on their own. He told me to gargle Corsodyl. I did and they haven't changed. I have also tried gargling salt water, L-lysine but nothing has helped at all.
Ulcers have nothing to do with ars. I get them more when I stress, smoke, drink beer or eat sharp edge food. If she was negative, I wouldn't sweat it. Get tested after 12 weeks from exposure if you're worried. I tested 20 weeks after exposure, five tests, have two canker soars on my inner cheek and tests were negative. Don't ever look for symptoms when it comes to HIV. You will find everything.

After the 10days I still had a sore throat that feels like an ulcer down my throat, and I also still had about 10 mouth ulcers as well as swollen gums. I went to my Internal MD and he put me on Medrol dose pack and Levaquin. This initially helped w/ the mouth ulcers but the one down my throat got much worse. I was given a Celestone inj and put on Orapred.

not only does testing tell you have ulcers, but it can tell you what kind. ulcers dont just come from stress or lots of caffeine, they can also be from a bacterial infection, and if it is, you have to take a bunch of pills to kill the infection. also, a few of the not so common conditions im referencing (sorry, cant remember the names) cause recurring ulcers, but are not usually limited to stomach ulcers. ulcers will appear in other parts of the body, such as kidneys, adrenal glands, etc.
m 40 and two weeks ago had lower back surgery. I had a small fever blister but forgot about it. Two weeks go by and I noticed all these ulcers in my mouth along my cheek and back of the throat. I panicked and went to see the doc. He said it was the type 2 herpes but only gave me 2 valtrex pills at 1gm each. What's going on? Was this always inside me since I'd get fever blisters? I'm scared and frustrated and I'm scared I could passed this on to my gf.
The HIV patient has sore throat and throat ulcers. Immediately without sterilizing the equipment, the doctor used the same spoon like equipment to check my throat. I am worried, whether I will get HIV infection. Please help. The spoon like equipment might have contacted the sore throat and throat ulcers of the HIV patient and it could have contacted me too. Please help with your suggestions.
