throat ulcers healing time

I view it as I caught a virus and is activate when you have a gastric episode. I had an EMT look at my throat. He said he saw healing and no concerns. Magic Mouthwash. Verdict not out on this product, especially since I can't swallow it. Anyhow, in the the throat concerns me. Any thoughts?

I went to my GP and he told me they were either due to a viral or bacterial infection and would go on their own. He told me to gargle Corsodyl. I did and they haven't changed. I have also tried gargling salt water, L-lysine but nothing has helped at all.

Did your doc even bother to do a strep test or anything? Strep throat can also cause ulcers in the throat and mouth and strep is definitely something that neeeds to be treated with antibiotics.

It has been about 2 weeks since then and I have noticed white ulcers on my vagina and on the back of my throat. My nipples are not getting any better, I have been putting healing ointment along with bandages every night. My nipples are now turning white along with a yellowish puss. I have asked my partner if he has or think he has any sort of disease and he told me he does not have anything.

I visited doctors many times and recived my types of medications, but nothing could cure my mouth ulcer, it begains with one small white urlcer with lots of pain in all of my mouth and in few days it reaches to 4 or 5 in all ereas of my mouth even sometimes this goes deep to my throat and some times when this get very sever this associated with fever.

So, GERD and Ulcers are now curable? I read that Ranitidine sped up the healing process in individuals who were taking it. I'm assuming healing means curing. My fear is having to take this one medicine everyday for the rest of my life. Thanks again.

On November 16, due to the efforts to cough I bleed a little bit. I noted dry throat and oral ulcers. And thrush (candida). I had my duo test for hiv and sifilis after 29 days from my first exposure being negative. The synthomps remain. I read that oral ulcers and thrush is connected with HIV. Could be other StD? I am in panic.

Generally such wounds/scabs/ulcers that do not heal are due to underlying infection, low supply of oxygen to the wound that is reducing the healing process, underlying diabetes, or due to dermatitis. Wounds heal slower in diabetics or smokers or alcoholics who have been smoking and drinking for a long time. So these have to be ruled out. This could also be a case of seborrheic dermatitis. There is no cure as such, but it can be controlled by medicated shampoos and lotions.

I feel well in myself at the moment, though I have had a couple of ulcers at the back of my throat for the last 8 days or so, as well as a tender feeling around the scrotal wound. These have both been improving since, and I feel completely healthy apart from the occassional mild pain from the ulcers in the throat. After the 10days I still had a sore throat that feels like an ulcer down my throat, and I also still had about 10 mouth ulcers as well as swollen gums. I went to my Internal MD and he put me on Medrol dose pack and Levaquin. This initially helped w/ the mouth ulcers but the one down my throat got much worse. I was given a Celestone inj and put on Orapred.
