Avatar m tn I first felt it when one day i yelled alot and felt something being pulled from my throat. Can it be a throat muscle strain ?? i went and checked with a doctor but he told me that it was nothing.
Avatar n tn i have a chest muscle right below the throat area that is strained. Is there anything i can do for the pain?
Avatar n tn difficulty breathing, coughing, and sore throat. I play baseball and lift heavy objects sometimes, but not often. Can a pulled muscle cause all these symptoms?
Avatar m tn I remember that as a kid 30 years ago, I once threw a baseball from an awkward position and seemed to pull a muscle that made the exact same spot in my throat hurt terribly. This actually happened two or three times. It was as if the back of my tongue was being pulled. Strange, but it's a similar feeling now. Most likely, I will have to see a doctor about this, but I now don't have medical insurance, so I definitely hope to avoid a long expensive process.
Avatar f tn Yes, you can get chest pain (pain in your breast area) from throat infections. Throat infection by streptococcal bacteria can cause heart affliction too. Similarly throat infection can spread to lungs and cause pneumonia which can cause chest pain. If it is accompanied by fever then high pulse rate can cause chest discomfort. Antibiotics given during throat infections can cause acidity and chest pain.
Avatar f tn I would try hot tea (decaffeinated) with honey. Thats what ive done when my throat hurts. Unless you mean like the muscle hurts, in which case I'm not sure what you could do.

760040 tn?1234178213 I have been sick with sinusitis, bronchitis, sore throat, achiness all over but mainly in throat, neck, shoulders, armpits, arms - tingling in both arms and numbness, cold hands (even if it is warm), dizziness, extremely exhausted. My mental health is now at risk because of not feeling better, frustrated and scared. I am beginning to cry all of the time because of the pain and frustration. The first doctor that I went to, approx.
Avatar n tn Is the soreness at the base of the throat like you have a pulled muscle or swallowed something that was to large for your throat and it becomes just plain sore. Having JRA you are at a greater risk for other auto-immune such as Thyroid. I'm not in the medical field but I do have a son with type 1 diabetes and after a year of that diagnoses he developed Hashimoto. I wish you luck on your journey.
Avatar m tn m feeling muscle pains all over, muscle twitches moving about my body and a burning sensation accompanying all of this. Have anybody ever experience any of this? Additionally, can the effects of anxiety linger even after your anxiety goes away? Because I'd admit I was terribly anxious about it early on but I'm truly not anymore, but then out of nowhere the muscle aches would come. Would like to hear your comments, thanks!
Avatar f tn I have severe muscle pain, fatige, sleepiness and throat pain for the last few months. My haemoglobin has been low for many years(atleast) and becomes okay after a 3 months iron supplement. It will become low again. I was diagnoised with TMJ jaw problem(jaw pain, ringing in the ears) 8 monthd back. I wear a splint for it. My TSH as of now is 18.26(ref range 0.35-5.50), free T3 is 2.10(ref range 2.3-4.2) free T4 is 0.87(ref range 0.89-1.76) and haemoglobin 11.4(range 12.0-15.).
Avatar f tn I get pain like this if I've been walking fast/jogging or if I haven't worn my bra during the day (like on a day off or if I'm sick lol). I figure it's just muscle soreness. It could be referred pain from a lot of different conditions, or direct pain from lots more different conditions. Does it feel like a muscle ache? Is it a stabbing pain, cramping pain or crushing pain? When you say 'under your boob' do you mean behind your boob, like your throat is behind your mouth?
1277632 tn?1327594715 s not a sore throat, but it feels like muscle pain along the main muscle running from my ears, down to my collar bone. The pain is not sharp, but its uncomfortable. I thought it might be caused by my sleeping position, but I am scared it might be a symptom of Throat cancer. If I do have it, what is the prognosis, and should I go see a doctor? (Dumb question, I have an appointment next week) The pain as mention is not really pain, but an uncomfortable feeling its been there since 3 weeks.
Avatar f tn I have gotten a sudden sore throat, started three hours ago, and severe pain in my legs especially the back sides of them into my calves starting in my buttocks. I'm wondering if there is any insight into what may be causing his all of a sudden. Neither the throat or leg pain seems to be relieved by anything.
Avatar f tn thanks for our help, i also have muscle slight growth on the wall of the throat, i dont have pain is it FM or fats
Avatar n tn o you do anything strenuous? i have always suffered muscle pain and it is really bad at timesmine is due to nerve damage in my neck, but because i was so stressed about it it became worse, because i was so tense i was actually tensining my own muscles so in turn causing more pain also you could be having a slight panic attack over why you are feeling so rough please go to your doctors so he can prescribe you some anti inflammotory tablets and maybe get some blood tests done.
Avatar f tn it went away after 5 days after which I started experiencing muscle pain in my neck n shoulder. I also sometimes had phlegm in my throat..it was sometimes bloody or yellowish. I had no fever(not that I am aware of) and no rash. The muscle pain went away after about 5 days after. A week later I developed a cough, congested and runny nose and was always expelling phlegm(yellowish n yellow-green phlegm) but had no sore throat. The muscle ache returned in my neck and shoulder during this time.
Avatar m tn s nothing wrong that is doing damage to your throat If I get stressed right out, the pain is unbearable, The more relaxed I am, the better it feels. He taught me breathing exercises to help... breathe in through the nose count to four breathe out through the mouth count of six. it works for me. I would still suggest that you get it checked out, you never know. Better to know than to stress yourself out more, and cause more pain, which causes more stress, which causes more pain...
1679858 tn?1346765181 Is muscle twitching a common Chiari symptom? I recently started taking Clonazapam for anxiety, my doctor wanted to see if the lump in my throat was from anxiety or something worse...it disappeared :) but I wonder if the twitches are from that drug (which I do not intend to stay on) or are a sign of something more serious. With yoga classes lately, I started getting aching arms and legs. Seems to coincide, as I started yoga in Jan. and the aches started in Jan.

Avatar n tn Also a key thing here is the fact that I know I have not participated in any physically activity such as running, lifting weights or heavy objects or anything that would usually cause some sort of muscle pain. Any suggestions on what may be going on?
Avatar n tn It could be a swollen lymph node. They run down along side your trachea, and if one is swollen, it may feel like something is stuck in your throat. I'm not sure how it is tied into standing or sitting, though, or the severe shoulder pain. I had one a few months back and it took almost two months (and 3 trips to the doc) to go away.
