The common cold, caused by a viral infection, usually presents with sore throat
, runny nose, and nasal congestion, cough, muscle aches, and even headaches. This is usually self-limiting and resolves after a few days with rest and drinking plenty of fluids. Not all medications are safe to take at this time of pregnancy. Saline nasal drops and paracetamol may help with the congestion and headache. However, if it persists, check with your doctor for proper evaluation and management.
