As per my previous post I had a throat infection and couple of skin infections for which my doc prescribed week course of erythromycin, seemed to clear the throat but then within days it was back 10 times worse accompanied by singular swollen pea sized node under left armpit and neck felt glandy, doctor has put me on another week course of erythromycin, 2 days in my throat still hurts like hell and myblegs fell like ive ran a marathon, also keep getting pains in armpits and left breast area (s

I get a spasm like feeling too. DR. Said its and inflamed gland....but why a second bout?? Is the throat thing related? Same partner for 1 year 5 mo. He tested neg for hsv 1 and 2 1 month ago, I was neg 2 months ago. Igg test. I took 1 diflucan 150mg last day of antibiotic as a precaution.
i developed an ulcer inside my mouth within a weeks time, experienced on and off tingling for a month. i have white patches at the back of my throat and few white spots on my tonsil for an year now. it is not causing any discomfort though.
I have tested negative for hiv, hsv 1,2 igg at 6 months mark, hep b and syphilis..
my question is:
1. what is this infection? why the white patches are there in the throat for an year now?

the weird part is i have no fever. and the lumps near thyroid..
Hi, the symptoms described could be due to an infection, most probably streptococcal or a viral infection. Strep sore throat needs to be treated with an antibiotic as strep is a bacteria. Viral sore throat is best treated with rest, warm oral fluids and (OTC) tylenol (acetaminophen) or ibuprofen for pain.
sore throat ( 2 times for a brief time), diarrhea (comes and goes) that lasted more than one month with stomach pain (the stools were not liquid though but were not solid) and a tongue that is white with red and white small acne that are present since one month plus. I feel tired with pain sometimes in bones (palms and feet). and pain in throat.
Every now and then i get these little white things clogged in my tonsils my throat hurts sometimes and then after taking meds the soreness goes away but the little white spot stays in my tonsil it doesn't rly hurt, it just kind of irritates.. i suffer from allergies but was wondering what this could be? i sneeze alot as well.
Now on day 20 my mild sore throat persists but with some white patches in the throat, minimal lymph gland swelling, mild joint stiffness, and a mild headache. Does this sound like acute HIV? Is a DNA test worthwhile, or do I need to wait the recommended three months to get tested using the antibody test?
However, these set of symptoms may also be observed in a viral infection or some other kind of illness. To confirm if this is due to streptococcus bacteria, throat swab or culture and direct physical examination may be done. If this is due to a viral infection, it usually resolves after a few days. Rest, saline gargle and medicated lozenges usually provide symptomatic relief. If it persists, further management may need to be done. Take care and do keep us posted.
Two days later my throat started hurting, severly. I had white spots on my tonsils. It lasted about 5 days. Swollen Nodes in neck during sore throat(painful). Extremely tired and achy not sure if I had fever. I had unprotected sex with my husband during this time. He got a sore throat, swollen nodes in neck(painful) and fever one week after me. I have had strep throat many times. I seem to have it again but what is confusing me is that my throat is red, swollen, covered in white nastiness, but it doesn't hurt. I am just tired and have a headache.
1. Why??? Usually I am begging for my life to end as I am a drama queen when Im sick. Pathetic but true.

Almost 10 days after the vaginal sex, I began feelling fatigue and tiredness, runny nose and dry throat and a little sore throat.
