As per my previous post I had a throat infection and couple of skin infections for which my doc prescribed week course of erythromycin, seemed to clear the throat but then within days it was back 10 times worse accompanied by singular swollen pea sized node under left armpit and neck felt glandy, doctor has put me on another week course of erythromycin, 2 days in my throat still hurts like hell and myblegs fell like ive ran a marathon, also keep getting pains in armpits and left breast area (s
So i just got pregnant again i may be about 5 weeks pregnant..well i been having stuffy nose and sore throat for a month now and just getting worst now im starting to cough too.Well i went to the doctor yesterday and he told me i have sinus infection and the antibiotic that is safe to give me during pregnancy he cant give it to me cuz im allergic to it..so he couldbt give me anything else..
Hi, I had a bacterial throat infection: including sore throat, fever, headache and body aches.....This was before x-mas, I was given Augmentin, which pretty much cleared it up, except my cough and congestion.... After x-mas The cough got worse and fevers, tongue ulcers and head and body aches came again, my Dr. said this time it's viral, so it would have run its coarse, it's been almost a month and still hasn't cleared up at all.
So are any of you pregnant ladies suffering at night by getting a little sore throat while u sleep? What do I do about this?

I started to feel strange this morning with a sinus headache and throughout the day it's just progressed into a fever, chills and I feel extremely congested with a sore throat. I can't take tylenol because it messes up my stomach. I'm 12 weeks pregnant and seeing the doc tomorrow anyways for a check up, but don't know what to do to make the pain stop. I'm in tears, help!
Tylenol will help with any aches and pains. Gargling with warm salt water sometimes helps the throat or duck on cough drops to keep the throat moist. If you have a fever, you should probably go to the dr.
m pretty sure I have either a sinus infection or strep throat. I am 16 weeks with my first. I'm.pretty sure I have temperature too and my Dr just told me I have a uti and have been on some type of antibiotic for that. This sounds really dumb to.me but do I treat this sickness a certain way being pregnant and all or do like what I normally would.
See a doctor it could be a STD the symptoms from a yeast infection are the same as some STD I thought.
You may have infected your eye from the throat infection and it might be cleared by the Azithromycin if it is the same organism that is causing the problem. But usually they give you eye drops for an eye infection that have antibiotics in them, so I'm not sure if the oral med will care of the problem. You could also have an allergy, virus in the eye or have accidently got something else in your eye. Try eye drops and if it doesn't clear up in a day or two then see an eye doctor.
If it does, that it what you have. Unlike your throat infection, if you have a whitlow present it is infectious to others. Many would treat this with antiviral therapy, acyclovir or like medication when it recurs).

now in march, im still having sore throat n headache. the doctor has diagnosed that im hvg sinus n it is not sore throat as my throat is clear n not swelled. im having sinus since i was young. so the doctor said that since my nose's holes r blocked so, im using my mouth to breathe n it causes dehydration at my throat. why am i having headache yet? am i exposed to hiv infection? sometimes i have body aches...
My 8 year old daughter has a reoccuring throat infection that requires antibiotics. She took 7 or 8 rounds of it last year and again this year seems to be getting it again. I do not want her to build up antibodies or become allergic to it. I know antibiotics are good here and there, but too much isn't good for you and if I can find a way to help her avoid her throat infections, I'd like to eliminate the need for antibiotics.
