3 year fell ill. Told...viral, viral, viral...chest/throat/ear infection, left untreated. Stroke like attack...brain scan flagged up a brain aneurysm. No spinal or heart scan even though complained of both. Burning, hot running water in all three areas. Intense pain, continuous daily pain in brain and spine. Yet no scans given on spine. Recent scan on heart, flagged up ventricular systolic dysfunction (RVSD).

Hello. I'm just wondering what would happen if an STD is left untreated? particularly herpes? And what tests should i take? And is it possible that herpes heals on its own over time?

If you caught Chlamydia trachomatis infection in the throat, the infection would most likely be asymptomatic. There is no known consequence to chlamydial infection of the throat and if it occurred, it would almost certainly resolve even if untreated. The cells which chlamydia infections occur on, columnar epithelial cells are absent from the throat. thus, once again, even if you were one of those rare persons, there would be nothing to be concerned about.

Since you have swollen throat, pressure in kidney areas while urinating, and low back ache, the first thing to be rule out is streptococcal infection. These bacteria can affect both throat and kidney at the same time (though usually kidney is affected 1-2 weeks later) and if left untreated can be dangerous. Please consult a doctor immediately. You need a throat swab and urine examination and maybe culture of the urine to start with. Take care!
I've heard hydrogen peroxide, but an ear infection left untreated can cause internal ear scarring and some more series issues so Id definitely go to your doctor or urgent care so it doesn't get worse and cause more issues
I was diagnosed with having Gonorrhea of the throat back in August. Now my question is how long can it go without causing problems left untreated? I was diagnosed and treated in August, but before this I have to admit that I have never been tested for anything at and STD Clinic - Before anyone says, I know this is incredably stupid!! Yeast infections are common in pregnancy. Most women get at least 1 when they're pregnant. It's not an STD at all. It won't go away by itself, it will just get worse and harder to shift if left untreated. Best to speak to your doctor/midwife about it and they'll give you a prescription to treat it. You need to be careful, sometimes the treatments for yeast infections can be different when you're pregnant so always best advising your doctor first.
what ur reading is hysteria misinformation........oral hpv warts are very rare.....so rare left untreated and muliplying they can get cancerous but so very few cases reported......genital HPV is just that ..limited 2 the genitals and warts can go to the anal area.Read up on this in the doctors forum by Drs.Hook and handsfield.
