my fiancee is suffering from earache and it is repeating frequently and he says, when he is in office due to airconditioning it becomes more and sometimes due to talking in mobile , im worried about it bcz it is happening frequently now and sometimes fluid also flows frm his ears . plz suggest me how to control it .
ve also had earache on the same side where the main white patch is. My daughter has had a sore throat, earache and chesty cough recently.
I'm going to get myself tested for throat gonorrhoea and chlamydia - do I need to wait a week post encounter as some sites suggest or does the fact that the white spots are there mean a valid swab can be taken? How worried should I be about STI here?
well its going to be a week already and i been having a horrible sore throat and earache... My question is could this be of the fine needle biospy? Im so scared that the lump is causing all this... I hooked up with an ex girlfriend on May 6th 2011 and we had protected sex. Started experiencing symptoms like small white pimples on lip, sore throat, earache and headache, painful urination, swollen lymph’s nodes and diarrhea o after a week and went to urgent care and doctor told me that it is a bacterial infection and gave me antibotics. After 10 days of taking the antibotics there was no improvement.
I have had no fever. Could it be an ear infection, possibly just a blockage of fluid? Since antibiotics are not prescribed for ear infections what are treatment options?
, and about a week or so after contact i noticed an earache and this led to small bumps in my ear and led to an infection in the throat. my tonsils to be exact, i got tested on day 8 for chlamydia and gonorrhea and negative, then day 10 from sexual contact i got tested for HIV and negative. i just figured since i had swollen tonsils that something would have shown up?? and nothing,.
My Left ear and the left side of my throat has been hurting over the past few weeks. At time my ear iches, and my throat is sore when I swallow. I have not had a feaver, nor do I feel sick just this pain. Do you think it is more likley that I have an allergy to something, or do you think I have a virus. Do you know of any at home remidies to help sooth the pain?
The infection can arise anywhere first, either in throat, or ear, or in the sinus. All these are interconnected. So infection of one can lead to infection of another. I think you should wait for the ENT results. You may need a CT scan of the sinuses as they are the most conclusive in diagnosis missed by X-rays.
Needless to say, smoking is injurious for health.

This is the jaw joint and inflammation of this joint can cause pain on opening the mouth and tenderness on palpating behind the ear. If you have had a recent throat infection, it could also be a lymph node enlargement. So, if the pain does not resolve, please consult a dentist for assessment. He may even ask for blood test and an X ray. In the meantime you can use OTC Acetaminophen for relief from pain.

hello i am 21 years old.and i have a bad cough. it's hard to get the mucus out. and a runny nose comes of reallly fast. and i feel shaking. and i feel cold. the weather is kind nice for being 5:00 am i hadn't slept all night. been feeling like all day. with a earache in the mourning to miday. then around 11:00pm i started getting chills. and i'm having little pains in my arms. i don't know what that is. thank's for reading.
Mistook it for neck strain, gland swelling, sinus, earache, finally, Covid again and it flared bad. Hurts to turn my head, laydown, look down, throat feels full, earache, sinus feels full, eyelid heavy. Finally doc sees me. Nasal and throat scope clear. MRI to be scheduled. ESR and CRP normal levels. 56, F, healthy, except low collagen, slight joint hypermobility. Initial dx Carotidynia., pending MRI.
after fever sore throat recovered. then headache and earache started and lasted one day. and then thrush. I think thrush might be related to the fact that i used antiseptic mouthwash to help with the sore throat.

my wisdom tooth has been bothering me for two days, this pain has lead to my throat and into my ear as well as caused a headache. i went to the dentist and he's told me that i have a infection although the problem is that I'm deathly allergic to penicillin and all five of them that fall under the category of penicillin. So in the end I'm screwed for antibiotics and so far have no way to kill the infection.

1.Tap on the last three molars of upper and lower jaws, and see if it hurts? If so, meet your dental surgeon.
2.Try placing your forefinger on the floor of the mouth on that side, between last molar and the tongue; place the forefinger of the opp hand below the jaw and try to press the region between the two fingers. You are trying to feel your salivary gland in that region. Is it painful?
27 F, M/o two, with three lumps, earache, sore throat, headache and occasional blurred vision, all on right side, scared, all developed over 3 yrs.
With swellings and lumps in the head and neck area, you have to visit your doctor, and if they don't respond well to treatment, they will refer you to ENT who is more familiar with the anatomy and illness in the area. Only he will be able to find out what they are, and what relation they may have with each other, and your earache and headache.
The cough could be secondary to excess mucous associated with the sore throat, ear infection and possible sinus infection, but in that case the cough would be less likely to be dry. All of what you describe could be secondary to a strep throat and that would be unlikely to respond to Bactrim.
Basically, this would be a good time for your illness to be re-evaluated, either by your doctor or, if you have been “put-off” by your doctor’s “brushing it off”., by another doctor.
