Avatar f tn Someone please tell me where to find some good yoga exercises. I can't seem to fund any good ones. I'm 20 weeks! And would like some input on what other mommies do??
Avatar n tn My sore throat also comes after I eat or sit down for some time. Now it has been around 3 months but the sore throat continues. I am not sure if the exercises worsened the reflux or I contracted some other illness ( super bug or something ) that is affecting my throat.
Avatar n tn It will be ideal if a doctor takes interest and advice types of exercise one has to do. In yoga, you have soft yoga as well which can be done by elderrly persons. I am 80. I am doing yoga since childhood. I do various experiments as well. So taking personal interest and studying the subject can help us to get correct exercises and change the exercises according to needs.

Avatar f tn Popping a small mint in your mouth will not only help keep your mouth and throat moist, it will cause you to swallow more frequently and this MIGHT help your throat muscles loser. There are also some yoga exercises you can do that will help loosen your neck muscles which are connected to your throat muscles. You can do these without anyone even knowing you're doing them.
Avatar f tn Hi! I also have fibro (since May of this year) and am a Certified Personal Trainer (ironic huh?) Walking would be great for you. It is a weight bearing exercise that will help strengthen bones without breaking them down like higher impact exercises would. Start with something doable even if its just walking around the block and add on from there!
Avatar n tn Running/ jogging causes muscle spasms and I am unable to do much for yoga because of the way it bends my back my break was in my t14 vertebrae and is above the small of my back below my shoulders. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Avatar m tn Unfortunately, it's a bit too late to lose 35 pounds before June. Any type of exercise is good for you....... you could try walking, yoga, biking, swimming, dance, tennis...... anything is good. You have to watch your diet, as well as exercise. According to your profile, you're only 15, so at that age, your body is not fully developed. You have to be very careful losing weight or you could have trouble later in life.

Avatar f tn I will suggest to walk, I know at 2 weeks I felt fine but even doing simple exercises took a toll on my body. I will suggest light stretches, yoga maybe pilates.
