But but swollen glands still there and I took some other medicine to try get rid of it which apperantly didnt help, until now it is march my swollen glands and ocassional sore throat is still there but no fever and other hiv sympthom but rashes sometimes and even small tiny white dot on my lips which might be quite common. My major concern is, I feel my heart and langs slightly painful in General. What kind of sypmthom is it? Should I see another std doctor for another blood test?
Hello. I'm becoming increasingly worried about swollen glands in my neck. The swelling is located on either side of my neck, roughly half an inch below the mastoid process (these might be the upper cervical lymph nodes but I'm not sure). They can't be seen, but when I feel my neck they feel hard. I've had them now for about three weeks. My only other symptoms: a slight sore throat that comes and goes, and a very infrequent cough.

I first noticed my lymph nodes were swollen on the left side of my neck about 2 weeks ago. They may have been swollen longer than that, I'm not sure because I don't regularly feel my neck. I was concerned about it so I decided to go to the doctor. I explained my concerns to my doctor, told her I wasn't experiencing any other symptoms (no pain, sore throat, fatigue, loss of appetite, etc.) I also don't have swollen glands anywhere else.
It is not painful but it is visible to the eye. I also have had a gland in my throat that is slightly enlarged but not super swollen. It hurts when I yawn. It has been there for seven weeks. The armpit started this week. Also I have lump in my belly on the middle left. It feels like a ball and is tender. I fear cancer and as soon as my health insurance kicks in I will go to the doctor but I need to know if this has happened to anyone else and what is was.
Well, I went to for the appt Friday. Guess what? Another round of "I can't see anything wrong with you"...He dismissed my biopsy and said I should go back to my ENT for further follow up. Ironically, this was the first day in almost 3 months that my glands weren't swollen! Like taking your car to a mechanic only to have it run perfectly. This is very frustrating.
hi, i got a sore throat about 2 months ago, the doctor diagnosed tonsilitis, and put me on calvepen, this got rid of the fever symptons but my glands stayed swollen an my throat stayed red, when the fever came back a few weeks later i went back and he put me on augmenten, this had the same effect i went back last week and was put back on calvepen and he did a mono test which came back negative, but said my white blood cell count was high and it looked like i was at the tale end of a virus, somed
When my lower wisdom tooth and surrounding gum was sore a few years ago I had swollen glands and a sore throat on the same side. I found ibuprofen worked best as it's an anti-inflammatory. Make sure you have something to eat before you take it though(even just a biscuit or piece of fruit)because taken on an empty stomach it can damage your stomach lining.
Over the course of the day my symptoms worsened, I had a severly sore throat, swollen glands, headache, all of my joints ached but mot my muscles and had no fever. The next day I saw my family doctor. He tested for strep, (test was negative). He said my lungs sounded good, no sinus problems and blood pressure was fine. Said he had no idea what it was. I was instructed to take Ibuprofen and chloriseptic spray for thoat to help with pain.
s and she says that my throat seems like I might have some sinus issues, my glands are swollen not my lymph nodes..she told me not to worry. She noticed white fluid on the back of my throat. She says she will get me to do some blood work and take a urine sample if I am so worried about the hpv and to check for chlamydia+hiv (my choice). Better to be safe than sorry since my ex did cheat on me with several women. She is also going to check if I have mono.

old was seen today for a fever and sore throat complaint. the ped. said she has a throat infection and swollen glands and prescribed meds. she did check other areas of her body for glands (at least that is what i think she was feeling for). about 7 weeks ago she had the same thing (tho the whole family passed around a fever/infection). should we be overly concerned that she has been sick like this twice in two months? what would be the tell tale signs of leukemia or lymphoma in a child?

It has now been a month that my neck glands and my throat glands have been swollen steady. It is not sore, the only pain I feel is when they start to grow bigger, when ever i'm chewing and swallowing it will feel like a pinch sometimes, but not always. hi, was reading all letters, god , i going through the hell at the moment, i lost my husband just 16 month ago, to the cancer, now i m so scared of everything.
I had this feeling of a tightness in my throat, swollen lymph nodes and shortness of breath. I had been seeing doctors for the swollen glands and shortness of breath with no answers. About three months ago the doctor said that my thyroid was swollen. He ran blood work and an ultrasound. The blood work came back normal but positive for antibodies. The size came back left 4.6 x 1.1 x 1.5 and right 5.2 x 1.5 x 1.5 there is a small cyst on the left side.
