HI I HAD A SHOULDER CUFF INJURY IN FEBRUARY FOR THE SECOND TIME, I COULD DRIVE AND EVEN HIT THE GYM TILL THEN, AFTER THE SECOND TIME I GOT INJURIED I WAS TENSED N WAS THINKING ABUT THAT EACH TIME AND ONE DAY I DREW MY BIKE THAT IS IN FEBRAURY FROM THAT DAY MY NECK SEEMS TO BE STIFFED AND ALWAYS HEAR THE CRUNCHING NOISE I DIDNT GIVE REST, I TRAVELED EACH DAY BUT IT WAS IN THE PUBLIC VEHICLE, BUT MY NECK PAIN AND STIFFNESS EVEN GOT WORSE FOLLOWING THE SMALL LUMP THT IS NOT VISIBLE TO THE NAKED EYE
The reason I ask is because two weeks after my FNA I had neck pain on the whole left side that felt like I had whiplash and I also had a cold/sore throat. The neck pain lasted about a week and the sore throat lasted maybe 3 days. No one else seemed to think it was related to the FNA, but I couldn't figure out anything else it could be.
I say that because i have had a few dental issues such as wisdom teeth coming through, dead tooth and even TMG where my jaw aches and causes pain side of the head, neck and throat.
My left jaw and ear also hurt. I have been to an internal medicine and ENT doctor, and I have had an MRI and CT scan of my neck, and I was told that everything appears normal. The ENT doctor said my lymph nodes are swollen, but the MRI was normal. My thyroid is not swollen and TSH and free T4 levels are fine. The last few days my neck has been hurting even more. I couldn't even work today it hurt so much.
My Neuo surgeon went through my throat (font) which opens up to the disks. Took bone from my hip, and basically screwed and glued my neck. Now at the time I had no feeling in my left arm and immediately the next morning I saw an immediate difference. I took off a month from work having 3 disks repaired and went back to work. Getting over the surgery really takes about a year. Some trouble off and on but rubbing the shoulders works great.
anxiety, shaky, ear pain and ringing, eye pain, diarrhea, weight loss, chest pain, then get the TSI test for Graves.
If you have some of the above symptoms, plus you alternate with hypo symptoms such as weight gain, constipation, depression, dry skin and eyes, hair loss, muscle pain, brain fog and migraine, rashes or hives, heartburn and GERD, then get the TGab and TPOab antibody tests for Hashimoto's.
Also, get an ultrasound of the thyroid.
First it started with a little throat irratation, and that turned into swelling (hurts a little when i swallow) and i feel that my throat is swollen on both sides but on the outside i feel pain and a swollen little lump on the right side, which is more sore than the left. It hurts to turn my head and sometimes when i walk the pain from my neck goes into my right ear and right temple. I have not been dizzy, nor feeling nausea, but i have had regular diarrhea.
I had one of the oddest Asthma attacks last night. I've had asthma most of my life (35 of my 39 year life) but, I don't remember ever having one that came on so quick before and went away so quick before. I'm wandering if it was caused by a food allergy I didn't know I had as I can't think of anything else that could have triggered it.
Basically, I had a bowl of soup (from a tin) and a couple of cheese sandwiches for dinner then sat and watch tv.
ve seen the DO 4 times, seen a dentist for possible TMJ, seen an ENT (nothing wrong in my throat after looking inside), seen a neurologist (nothing neurological, he sid ) about my neck pain for 9-10 weeks. the pain subsides a bit when i am standing up and i feel the front of my neck tightening when i am sitting down. i have asked over and over but got no answer if there is some muscle pulling somewhere that's straining my neck when i sit down?

Chronic sinusitis usually manifests with cough, thick greenish discharge from nose to the back of throat, headache, pain in the jaw and teeth area, pain and swelling near the eyes, cheeks, throat etc. Neck pain along with these symptoms can be radiated pain and could be due to chronic sinusitis. But if you are having only neck pain then it could be related to trauma to the cervical spine, slipped disc, muscle sprain, hypertension etc.
Do rapid test in clinic, result came out negative. Throat and neck still swollen and diarrhea (3 to 4 times a day).
17/7: Whole body and armpit pain, should be swollen lymph node
Until today, my throat is still swollen, press on my neck can feel the pain. My armpit is still painful. And, 26/7 right groin feeling painful, left groin feeling little uncomfortable.
Hi, I am 24 year old and I am experiencing pain on my throat for 2 weeks now. I’m afraid that if this is cancerous or not (hope it is not).
I am a Technical Support Engineer and we are talking on the phone at least 7 hours a day, my shift is 8pm-5 am and I am lacking sleep. 2 weeks ago, I was having hard time talking and there is hoarseness on my voice. I can talk but I can feel the pain in the lower part of my neck. I can’t feel any lump on my neck, but I am having hard time swallowing.
I get a searing tightening pain in my esophagus that travels up my throat and makes my neck tighten. The only thing that will make this pain go away is if I take a quick drink of any liquid. Somestimes it take 2 gulps of a liquid, Preferably water to make it go away. Then I'm fine.
Does anyone know what this could be?
My doctor thinks I'm nuts---he has no clue what I am talking about.
the pain in my chest is like a deep soreness and i sometimes feel this fullness in my throat. there is also tingling in my neck and throat and severe neck pain on my left side. i went to the ER a few months ago and they did an EKG and nothing was wrong. i followed up with a doctor and he performed an EKG and he also said that my heart was in goo condition. these episodes keep coming and going and i am beginning to worry.
ve been suffering with similar symptoms too, sore throat with pain on the outside and aching neck and shoulders (left side). My throat sometimes feels like it has a lump and swollen glands.
My GP said my muscles have gone into spasm and prescribed diazepam, however I wasn't satisfied and have paid to go privately. I had an ultrasound on my neck and lo and behold they have found nodules in my thyroid (left side) I'm now waiting for a needle biopsy.
Thank you for ur reply,consulted the doctor, they did xray and i had even been to ENT specialist he did the endoscopy and for my anxiety after watching in the net that the causes of neck pain and the throat pain, i got feared and even got blood test and all the test done everything seems to be ok, but still mild pain persist whenevr i do strain, i dont know whether the neck and the throat are related with any nerves or anything but both kills me through out the day.
i live by myself and am on social security, i dont get to eat alot and like ten years ago my whole mouth and throat are just dry and uncomfortable. i smoke alot and legal tobacco from a pipe. the throat part is really bad. ill have to spit and alot of the times i have to vomit, i have a garbage next to me and can happen alot during the day, sometimes im gasping for breath and i get a headrush.
what can i do for my mouth and throat, its really bad and for a long time.
