I dislocated my sternomanubrial joint and lived with it like that for nearly seven years because the pain in my chest was very mild/ non existent initially and all of the pain was in my back (later the neck / throat / jaw but nobody connected the dots). It is a rare injury so nobody ever thinks of it and it can be ruled out with a simple lateral chest x ray.
cat scan and ultrasound show a multinodular goiter.....one nodule is 5cm and bowing my windpipe......endo has scheduled a biopsy and states will remove large nodule surgically no matter what biopsy results are.....also had neck/throat radiation 25 years ago due to hodgkins disease....had no idea it was a risk factor....ct of chest also shows one nodule in each of the upper lobes of lungs (one 5mm and 7mm)......what are the chances that thyroid is cancerous and has spread to the lungs.........

Thank you for ur reply,consulted the doctor, they did xray and i had even been to ENT specialist he did the endoscopy and for my anxiety after watching in the net that the causes of neck pain and the throat pain, i got feared and even got blood test and all the test done everything seems to be ok, but still mild pain persist whenevr i do strain, i dont know whether the neck and the throat are related with any nerves or anything but both kills me through out the day.
ll switch to advil ( doctor approved) I got a book on exercise and stretching from a friend who is a licensed therapist I do the stretching in the hot shower this helps me loosen up for the day the numbness in my left shoulder and tingling in my hands never seems to go away I have 3 bad discs in my neck and 5 in my back but dealing with my pain like this has got me to 34 days giver take a day I lost count I'll have to check on that been so busy at work.
At the end of March I contracted Chlamydia. Blood work came back negative for HIV but it wouldn't show up that soon anyway. I've had a sore throat for almost three weeks now and my chlamydia has also been seemingly resistant. I don't really have headaches, fever, rash, or any of that other stuff but I have felt a little more tired than usual recently.
My Neuo surgeon went through my throat (font) which opens up to the disks. Took bone from my hip, and basically screwed and glued my neck. Now at the time I had no feeling in my left arm and immediately the next morning I saw an immediate difference. I took off a month from work having 3 disks repaired and went back to work. Getting over the surgery really takes about a year. Some trouble off and on but rubbing the shoulders works great.
t know how to stand and what posture to have when in class bc after awhile in class I start to get dizzy and neck starts to hurt a lot and throat also and I just start feeling a lot of symptoms. Sleeping is easier but I still wonder if I'm sleeping the right way or I might be sleeping at a wrong angle that is affecting my neck and throat. Any help is great thanks!
i have a 1 cm lump/bump/nodule on the left side of the throat right below the thryoid cartilage. My doctor ordered an ultrasound.During the ultrasound ,the technician told me she saw the lump on the right
side of the screen. Now the results say its on the left side. I am confused. Does the ultrasound show the images in reverse or do i have another lump on the right side. I cannot afford another ultrasound and
the radiologist who checked the reports say its on the left. Why did the u.
I have been to my doctor who says my glands are swollen in my neck and that my throat/tonsils are red and inflammed looking inside. I have had this before, but not for a good few years.
I know its my own fault if I have caught something from this incident but I can't focus on anything else. I didn't know the man in question very well, was really just a holiday fling.
From what I've read ARS symptoms usually appear at about 2 weeks post exposure and 3 days is probably too early.
Almost every time I yawn I fell something like a muscle or bone poking on my neck just below my jaw. It pokes and then i have to manually push it back until i yawn again.
I sometimes feel pressure inside my neck and ears and it feels hot... Then i started to feel dizzy and vision is blurry and slow motion-like… Also felt pressure at the back of my eyes and neck ache (I went to an ENT and he said that my ears are normal even my Eustachian tubes are ok he just said that I might be having viral infection in my throat that's why i have a swollen lymph node)

I started feeling stomach issues from the same day and after two days i got diarrhea(gastritis) followed by headache, stiff neck and backache after few days. I visited a doctor when i came back and he said that most probably its a traveler's diarrhea because of food and alcohol. After another 10 days i got mild sore throat, ear blockage and body pain. I don't have any fever from the day of incidence.
I was given antibotics that lasted over a week. They did eventually clear up all my symptoms and also the swelling in the neck throat glands and neck glands went away. Sortly after that about 2 weeks later I noticed I had swollen neck glands again but that only lasted a week then went away completely. Early decemeber I noticed my neck glands were swollen again.
I had my boyfriend rub those same spots at the back of my neck very hard, (until I was bruised!) and it let up significantly! I did feel a hint of it here and there the following few days, so I did lots of self rubbing to the neck and stretching. Now, it's basically gone. The only time I notice anything similar to that sensation is when I am having a particularly bad allergy day and the post nasal drip is in abundance.
I was eating tacos last night and the taco got stuck for a second I was able to force most of it down but it seems there is still a piece stuck in the left side of my throat what should I do? I drank water, ate bread, I even drank warm water??

First it started with a little throat irratation, and that turned into swelling (hurts a little when i swallow) and i feel that my throat is swollen on both sides but on the outside i feel pain and a swollen little lump on the right side, which is more sore than the left. It hurts to turn my head and sometimes when i walk the pain from my neck goes into my right ear and right temple. I have not been dizzy, nor feeling nausea, but i have had regular diarrhea.
