throat and ear pain on one side

I have had hoarsness, pain and high pitched coughing from one side of my throat that sometimes causes choking.

ive had a stiff neck since having an operation 6 months ago physio isnt helping much and now for the past 8 weeks ive had a severe pain in my throat on the left side around my lynph nodes but the pain moves from up to behind my left ear to sometimes being under my chin! my gp cant find any lumps and an endoscopy didnt show up anything? pain killers are doing nothing and the pain is constant! i cant take much more! sometimes its a little painfull to swallow but i can eat ok.

I do have TMJ, I clench my jaw at night and often during the day. I have been having ear pain on that side. I did a endoscopy of my nose, ear and throat and the doctor said I was fine, just inflamed. Any ideas why inflammation can last this long? I was concerned with cancer but she told me she saw and felt nothing cancerous in my tonsil and throat. My ear is functioning properly but has pressure.

Yup, had that a lot. It could well be associated with a sinus infection, where gunk (like my medical terminology?) is dripping onto the back of your throat on one side. I 'm thinking that especially since you complain of one-sided lymph node swelling too. Your allergy activity could have started it all. The usual OTC remedies often work well for this, but if it goes on long you might want to see you PCP.

Pain is becoming very irritation and unbearable. Now im having deep throat pain on my right side everytime i swallow including the jaw and inner ear pain at once. That pain in my throat hurts whn i turn my head to the left but not the right. The pain is literally one the right side. this is all becoming too much. It wont go away and im a little worried irritated and becoming agitated with the whole thing.

Hello, I don’t think your symptoms are related to fibromyalgia. From your symptoms of ear pain and sore throat on one side of throat it can be due to Eustachian tube dysfunction. For each ear, a eustachian tube runs from the middle ear to the back of the throat and when this tube is blocked then it may cause fluid build up in ear and infections. You can get an examination done from an ENT specialist for these possibilities.

Also sometimes i get mild pain in right ear and weird jaw feelings after waking up when i sleep on the right side of my body. Do you think my wisdom tooth infection has spread or moved. Can an infection be present with such mild symptoms? 4 can a tooth ache cause node to swell?

Always when this happens ear pain first, then comes bladder not emptying out so need to go all the time the my other ms sign weakness on right side and freezing cold on the same side. My intro to MS was TN pain for 3 months, that pain was hell. I'm looking for acknowledge meant that what I'm experiencing is MS with the ear pain. I have a complicated problem. I'll try my best to explain it. This is a very long post. First, the pain.. I have this pain on the right side of my face. It's mostly directly under my ear, but depending on how bad it gets.. it can radiate up to the front of my ear (No pain inside my ear, thats fine). And also depending how bad it gets, it can make the very side of my throat hurt ..right around the places where it hurts on my face.

It seems like everything i eat or drink goes to the right side of my throat.I even experience mild pain on the left side of my throat and my ear hurts mildly too. I asked surgeons psychiatrists and more doctors if they know why? Nobody gave me an asnwer...

I have numbness and pain on one side of face. Dr. has me on gabapentin 600 mg three times a day but it is not helping.

Hi, I just read your Problem and Im having pretty much the same Problem. im sore in one side of my Throat and when i drink something Sour or Just water there's a Pain that goes from My side of the throat to all the way to may ear... it's Annoying, did you find a cure for it? Let me know. or anybody? Im hopping is not strep.

I am also having continuous pain in right side of throat near right ear and it increased on eating. day by day these pain went on increasing and in addition my neck started paining.its very difficult to move my neck in any direction and on movement throat muscle and ear clicking is observed. my both hands also started tingling and pins. i cant write more than two lines as it starts bad tingling below right shoulder. my jaws and teeth also started paining.

Have they ever taken (or have you at home with a blood pressure monitor) his blood pressure during one of these dizzy spells? Did he see an ear, nose and throat doctor about his vertigo (dizziness)? It would be good for him to get to that neurologist & if you could take a copy of the CT scan with you. You might tell the neuro office about your financial situation and ask if they could offer any kind of discount & or payment plan.

I remember this starting a few months ago after I read you could clean your ears out with hydrogen peroxide. I laid on my side and put it in my ear for 5 min or so and got it out. I do no not know if that is related, just extra information. I unfortunately also cannot afford insurance. A few days ago, on Tuesday I felt my left side of throat hurt when swallowing and yawning and the pain kind of went all the way from the side of my throat to my left ear, I then took medications and put on some gels and the throat part of it fixed, now my left ear just really hurts from the inside when swallowing, yawning and a little bit when talking. Two weeks ago I felt a releltless pressure on my left ear for almost a week. Then I had severe pain on the two broken teeth I have on my left side but no ear pressure. Then the tooth pain eased completely but now the ear pressure is back. This is sometimes precedeed by neck/throat pain. Is this teeth problems or ear, eye nose and throat problem? I have an appointment with a dental surgeon on tues but I don't even know if I that's the right kind of doctor.

I have this awlful pain that keeps occuring on one the left side of my neck and there is really bad pain that is in throat area just under my ear/jaw area but most importantly the pain goes behind my ear through my temple and into my left eye ( my eye feels like it is goning to burst). This pain is so severe that I gag from the throat pain and I even get sick. The left side of my face evene gets really cold during the pain attacks. I feel like I may pass out most of the time.

Back in January, I got extremely numb on my left side and lost feeling inside my throat on the left side. I also started having periodic ear pain. Neck lymph nodes can be the result of tonsillitis, pharyngitis (infection of upper throat), infection in mouth, caries in tooth, internal ear infection, outer ear infection, eczema, dermatitis, dandruff, breast cancer, fungal infection, other cancers like lymphoma etc. If you had flu like symptoms initially then it could be due to infectious mononucleosis too.

I have had jaw pain for many days, only on one side, now i have ear and throat pain on the same side, and my jaw hurts so bad, like I had been punched (or so I assume) really har din the jaw. It’s the top of my head towards the left that is sore, my left ear and like a gland deep in my throat on the same side. One of the comments above suggests that it could be related to herpes and I think that might be right. I get very similar skin sensitively on my stomach and thighs that i realised after years was related to herpes (although ive never had any blisters).
