There are herbal supplements (Maca root, Ashwagandha, Epimedium, etc.) that can help as well, altho effects aren’t quite as direct/dramatic as the Rx drugs. I think you should find another Dr.! Also, if this was just your PCP, you may want to see a Urologist who specializes in male sexual dysfunction.

) I was apprehensive about taking hormones (estrogen) and my doctor told me he had success with something new that was being done and it was a very very small dose of testosterone. It hardly looks like there is anything in the syringe but I get it everything 3 weeks and my hot flashes are gone! If I don't get them, they come right back.

Some of the testosterone will probably convert to estrogen but you will probably need more estrogen than that. I assume you are still taking the zumenon for now?
I think I am on the best dose of Thyroid but I have no sexual drive. I spoke to a gyno about this several years ago. Testosterone cannot be got. "It is usual that women at this age do not have drive". I got no help. I have a minimal persistent dose of oestrogen and some progesterone at intervals of three months.

My question is if ah continues to abuse pills and his tolerance continues to grow would he also have to keep going up in dose on whatever the dr prescribes for this? Do testosterone levels go down in connection with the amount and strenght of opiates used? IE, vicodin causes it to lower a bit so they just dont think about sex, percocets cause it to lower more to the point they have trouble getting aroused and then oxy's just wipe the T level and the sex drive out?

I had my Percocet RX filled on the 10th of this month in West Virginia, where I have just moved. How soon can I get another Percocet RX filled? In my last state there was a three day rul. So I could get the RX filled on the 7th!
