Avatar n tn I recently worked with an epoxy that I had thought was an MSDS Health rating 2, which means: "Intense or continued exposure could cause temporary incapacitation or possible residual injury unless prompt medical attention is given." The warnings on the package suggest to avoid eye/skin contact, avoid breathing vapors and to work in "adequate ventilation" (note that no one ever explains what this means).

Avatar m tn Hi I am not a doctor but I would think that there would be an MSDS sheet that would explain the dangers. You already know that everything you we eat breathe and put on the body has to be processed by the liver. I will try to find something. and come back.
144586 tn?1284666164 Now there are product that clean similarly to a beach solution - but anything used in a medical facility - or all facilities for that matter, including manufacturing etc - must have an MSDS sheet on file that identifies the product and all substances contained with in the product. It's a Federal Law! A bleach or toxic exposure to an elderly patient is highly unlikely in today's safety centered climate. OSHA would probably shut the facility down.
Avatar n tn They keep on telling me that all i was exposed to was general purpose oil, used in the vacuum pump of the GCMS. There was no extraction from the GCMS instrument. I looked up the MSDS for that chemical but my symtoms are not consitent with there findings. I sent off a hair sample to the US for mineral analysis. It stated that i had high levels of tin. I know inorganic tin is more or less harmless, or is it?, but can organotin cause these type of symtoms?.

955491 tn?1253935699 Sounds like an MSDS book. We had to get all the MSDS sheets for the medications and chemicals we use at work. I do believe they're found online.
Avatar m tn I'll run this by my friend at work (she's a vet). The best thing to do is find the MSDS sheet on JetDri. That would explain exactly what's in it and what chemicals may or may not be toxic in general. Another thing, I get the idea from your question that you're running your bird's dishes through the dishwasher. You could wash them by hand.
Avatar n tn I looked up the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) for Jeltrate Dustless Alginate Impression Material and under emergencies, it states that ingestion (swallowing it) that "Material is probably not harmful is swallowed" and "Low order of toxicity is expected when material is ingested." If you want to, you may want to schedule your mom for a consultation with a GI (gastrointestinal) specialist to see what they may have to say about it. Hope that helps.

Avatar f tn My question is if ah continues to abuse pills and his tolerance continues to grow would he also have to keep going up in dose on whatever the dr prescribes for this? Do testosterone levels go down in connection with the amount and strenght of opiates used? IE, vicodin causes it to lower a bit so they just dont think about sex, percocets cause it to lower more to the point they have trouble getting aroused and then oxy's just wipe the T level and the sex drive out?
Avatar m tn Hi, How are you? Testosterone has been used for many decades for the treatment of testosterone deficient males.Today options for treatment include topical testosterone gels and creams, short and long acting injections of testosterone esters, application of testosterone through skin patches, subcutaneous testosterone implants, and oral testosterone capsules. The injection is given deep intra-muscular and is quite often painful.
Avatar m tn As of now, all my laboratory tests are within normal level except my testosterone. I’m on testosterone replacement therapy since August of 2009 but I’m afraid of the possible side effects like prostate problem. My question, is it possible if I decide to discontinue my testosterone replacement therapy? I really need your opinion.
