Avatar n tn you need total testosterone, free testosterone and estrogen levels checked. I was treated @ age 35 and I am now 45 and I haven't taken my meds for 2 yrs and have had alot of health issues in the last 2 yrs esp with my heart it's time to go back to the replacement therapy. I have tried them all from injections to gels to patches.I like the injections I give them myself but the do hurt like hell.
Avatar f tn Other than that there is an increase in LH (leutinizing hormone), total testosterone and free testosterone and maybe an increase in prolactin levels and decrease in estrogen levels. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care and please do keep me posted on how you are doing.

Fyi im a male in my 20's. Thank you.
Avatar m tn Hi, Increased sweating can be due to many reasons including reduction in testosterone, thyroid isuues, blood circulatory problems etc. and is not to be taken as a standard mid life symptom. You should consult a physician and get it properly diagnosed.
Avatar f tn It is working! The testosterone is working great! My hives have gone down! My does may need to get larger but its working!
Avatar m tn I actually recommend you test your testosterone now so you have a baseline in case your libido drops. In subsequent tests I have had 450, 295, and the latest test from November 2012 was the lowest at 250 NL/DL From January 2012 to March 2012 my sex drive was at about 25 percent. Sex was almost impossible. It took extreme concentration and I would loose my erection most of the time. During the summer and fall it was a little better I felt like I as at 75 percent.
Avatar n tn Alright, I'm 14, I'm a girl and I'm NOT sexually active. A little bit after I started shaving, I've been getting these bumps. And no I don't think they're razor bumps bc I've had those before and these just don't compare. I have two that really bother me. One of them is really big. It's kinda dark but I'm guessing bc of the blood? I'm not sure.
Avatar f tn I found out in 2019 I had low testosterone (0.6) and high SHBG (134), still same numbers as of June this year. Back in 2019, A doctor prescribed me AndrolGel. After a week or two into the treatment I had insane heart palpitations, high BP’s, dizzyness, sweating, headaches, the works pretty much. After a month or two of ER visits and doctors telling me it’s not the AndrolGel, I stopped it. Told me everyone has testosterone in their body speech. My dosage was 1 sachet of 2.5gm 1% twice a week.
Avatar m tn Would that drastically effect the levels of testosterone? I read that because of my age my testosterone should be in the upper third quadrant not the lower third quadrant. I also read that probably some of the best results I could expect on Testosterone gel would not be over 500. Am I doomed or can I get my levels where they should be. I also read that men with higher testosterone levels live longer.
Avatar f tn I had my hysterectomy/oophrectomy when I was 26 (1986). Your body still produces hormones (both estrogen and testosterone) from other glands. I am a vegetarian and have always eaten soy products. One of the benefits of soy is that it breaks down to a type of estrogen substitute. I have never taken estrogen replacement and my levels have always been great. Try a few soy products (ice cream, appetizers, supplements) and see if you feel better. Also, have you MD test your glucose levels.
Avatar n tn There is no risk of transmission of HCV in sweat. HCV is a blood borne pathogen and infected blood must enter the bloodstream of a non-infected person in order for transmission to occur. So no worries on this one.
15866806 tn?1443579394 I was diagnosed with MS a few years ago but for the past year I drip in sweat with anything I do if it contains any type of movement. I start sweating when I wash dishes and don't get me started if I have to do any type of cleaning. Does anyone else have this problem? I see my neurologist tomorrow and I will remember to mention this to him this time. This is very inconvenient and not to mention embarrassing when out in public. Any feedback from anyone?
Avatar n tn I'd like to know what my blood test results may mean. I've taking diet pills (ephedrine/caffeine) for a few years. In last year my endurance has decline. About 8 months ago I started noticing Fatigue, memory problems, body aches and problems maintaining erections. I started taking pregnenolone and 7-keto DHEA thinking it would increase testosterone. I finally went to my doctor 2 1/2 months ago. He ordered blood tests.
Avatar m tn However, you should have your doctor run tests to check for anything that may be causing severe changes in your levels. Testosterone levels vary throughout the day and should be checked in the morning. Anxiety could also be the cause of some of the symptoms you describe.
Avatar f tn Im having a boy I wake up covered in sweat every night doc said it's because of baby boy testosterone causing hormonal imbalance
Avatar f tn I will update once i have an actual print out of levels, but i was curious about natural ways to treat hormone imbalances. My testosterone is extremely high, estrogen extremely low, and progestrone is low as well. I may be jumping the gun here without actual numbers, but I'd just like to get started on taking some kind of herbs/vitamins/supplements as soon as possible. Not sure if this is useful in anyway, but possibly worth noting--my Vitamin D, B12, and Iron are all extremely low.
Avatar n tn I wake up early in the morning drenched in sweat, then I start to vomit big time. This lasts the better part of the day and usually happens about once a month. I am 56 and had a hysterectomy 6 years ago. Could the sweating (ringing the nightgown out kind) be messing with my electrolytes? Could it still be a menopause problem? Tests have ruled out any heart problem. Am on medication for blood pressure, take Lipitor, and Zoloft. Anyone have any ideas?
Avatar f tn thanx. Friend. I really wanna move from it but however i could not. Always thinking that may that negative result is false or something wrong on their testing method.although i checked my blood total 4 times. i work out of my country in saudi and here not easy to find good doc or consultalnt.my few question is is possible to get night sweat untill 2/3 months?it's also some days got sweat and some days not. It could be because of hot. Here tem is now 29/30.
Avatar f tn they dry your skin out so it cracks the skin not stopping the sweating so that when you do sweat it stings in the little cracks where youir skin split. skin specialists do nothing they don't even know what to do with you except shoot you up with botox. which works maybe for a bit but it's costly and painful many many many injections to the area. i've only found some not complete but some comfort in prescriptions.
Avatar f tn This happened to me last week at 21 weeks I figured it was because I was disgustingly sick.. But nope.. It has become an every night thing even now that I am no longer sick and it *****... I also feel like I sweat more in general and I never used to have like a "stinky"sweat, but I do now... Is that weird??? What deodorant do you ladies use while pregnant??

Avatar f tn Endocrine gland related conditions like hyperthyroidism (ruled out), acromegaly and glucose control disorders (diabetes and hypoglycemia both) all result in increased sweating. Pheochromocytoma, cancers, carcinoid syndromes, tuberculosis and other infections too can cause increased sweating. It can also be due to low blood pressure. Get your adrenal gland function tested. . Avoid too much of tea, coffee, smoking and spicy food.
