androgel

Avatar n tn Hi NOHARD, Thanks for the info.I live in Canada and I've heard that some countries measure it a different way.It seems to me the drs don't want to put me on the injections because of the side effects.I'm going to keep asking to be put on it though because I think its too low.My energy level is very bad.I can't seem to do much without getting short of breath.
Avatar n tn I know everybody say it is no risk but there are some things that really bother me. This happened in Germany and tested in Canada. End of March 2008 Stripper who fingered herself deep and then put her hand down my pants and touched my genital and may have touched my anus don't think any insertive.
Avatar m tn I would be interested in what your MD said though. Are you located in Canada, I did not recognize those ranges.
Avatar m tn t prescribe testosterone ethanate and referred me to a endocrinologist. He wants to charge me $2500 in new blood work and $350 per visit with a minimum of 4 visits. He also wants me to come in for injections at $200 twice per month. Insurance again won't pay... for a now "pre-existing condition". How can I get help without being extorted and bankrupted ?
1369218 tn?1282423884 I am seeing a new endo in a few weeks. I am low in progesterone, but was told it can cause testosterone to rise if you take supplements. I already have the hair growth thing going on too. My testosterone is elevated at times and normal other times. My periods are doing better since eating gluten free though. I was clotting so bad a few months ago I became anemic. I just feel like a big ball of a mess. I cannot seem to get it all to work right anymore. I used to be able to lose weight.
Avatar m tn The tests run are not really run for adrenal except DHEA (and that is really more of an adrogen - e.g. it converts to testosterone and estrogen) so not sure why it belongs in this forum. Normally the tests here would be along the lines of cortisol and ACTH etc. Oh and I am a girl... LOL...
Avatar f tn Also, when a treatment gets approved in the States, it takes some time for it to be approved in Canada as we are behind the U.S.
Avatar f tn Does anyone have any names of docs in Canada who deal with AD. We were vacationing in Australia, both got bit by jellyfish. I had AD for 3 months and it went away. He still has it after 2 years. He was healthy, young 35 yr old with no health issues. It's crazy, I could make a movie out of our experience. Any help is appreciated.
Avatar m tn I’m seeing a doctor at Seager medical group tomorrow, a hair restoration clinic in Canada. I hope he can offer up some solution for my trouble. Please share if anyone else is facing the same problem.
Avatar f tn I found out in 2019 I had low testosterone (0.6) and high SHBG (134), still same numbers as of June this year. Back in 2019, A doctor prescribed me AndrolGel. After a week or two into the treatment I had insane heart palpitations, high BP’s, dizzyness, sweating, headaches, the works pretty much. After a month or two of ER visits and doctors telling me it’s not the AndrolGel, I stopped it. Told me everyone has testosterone in their body speech. My dosage was 1 sachet of 2.5gm 1% twice a week.
Avatar m tn Since low testosterone levels were detected, Ive gone under several tests (LH, FSH, Testosterone, prolactin). The testosterone values were extremely low (5.9 nmol/L) but all the other ones were normal. By the way, I had a very delayed puberty - started at 18! Also,a CT scan of my pituitary was performed. The results indicated that I have a simetric but abnormally small pituitary gland.
689860 tn?1238718032 I got my test and prescription from my regular family doctor. Androgel is expensive ($120 a month here in Canada), but my private health plan covers it, which is great. The province where I live will only pay for the injections, not the gel. The gel will be generic within a few years, so the price will go down. You don't say what all your symptoms were. If you were having ED, you still might need medication for that.
Avatar n tn I'd like to know what my blood test results may mean. I've taking diet pills (ephedrine/caffeine) for a few years. In last year my endurance has decline. About 8 months ago I started noticing Fatigue, memory problems, body aches and problems maintaining erections. I started taking pregnenolone and 7-keto DHEA thinking it would increase testosterone. I finally went to my doctor 2 1/2 months ago. He ordered blood tests.
Avatar n tn I have Hypothyroid when I couldn't find armour her in the usa. 1139187 tn?1355706647 I was just curious to know if any of the guys in the group have testosterone issues and are you currently under treatment for this as well?
