Testosterone herbs

Common Questions and Answers about Testosterone herbs

1419848 tn?1283643589 Drink herbal teas or consume them in capsule or tincture form to help you lower your testosterone levels. Perhaps one of the best (and tastiest) herbs for correcting this problem is spearmint. Studies performed at the Suleyman Demirel University in Isparta, Turkey, show that women drinking two cups of spearmint tea for five days significantly lowered their androgen levels.
Avatar m tn I am still waiting for reverse T3 and bio-available testosterone - but bio-available testosterone will be bad no doubt. Thank you to all who took the time to read this !
Avatar n tn You need a trial of testosterone replacement therapy. It does not matter what your testosterone "levels" as this tells you nothing.
Avatar m tn hi Steve, herbs are a lot healther than drugs, a lot of of ED drugs have bad side effects, with herbs your safer and a lot better for your body health, but I will add with herbs its a mix and match way to go to overcome your problem, and you will be able to get erections when you want one, with drugs it take it and what an hour, but if thats what you want then go that way, just see your doctor.
Avatar n tn I did inform the Doctor I have been tired lately so he ordered blood work to check hormone levels. Turns out my testosterone level is low. Actually looked at my bloodwork records just prior to tumor removal and all hormone levels were WAY OFF - They have all seemed to come back to normal levels with the exception of my testosterone. My surgeon is referring me to a endocrinologist. Working on making an appointment now.
Avatar m tn I have researched DHEA, L-Arginine and some of the other herbs. I have also taken some chinese herbs before without much success. I also see that you are 65 years old so I am not sure our situations are the same. Maybe we have different reasons for ED. I also feel my whole body is tired many times, so it is not just ED that is bothering me. I cannot exercise because whenever I exercise I just feel more tired, it doesn't help. I'm taking some chinese herbs right now.
Avatar m tn That is a common affliction of cyclists. The other cause of ED is low testosterone. I suspected low T because I really noticed a huge drop in sex drive. I work in a place full of beautiful women. It used to be difficult to concentrate with all of them around. I had sexual fantasies all the time, masturbated all the time, had sex all the time, and then it all stopped. I see women now and I can tell they are beautiful, but I no longer feel passion or desire. It has been a nightmare.
Avatar f tn s actually a theoretical testosterone enhancer mixed with caffeine containing herbs, such as guarana, and other energizers that act on the adrenals. Does guarana work? Yes, better than coffee, but whenever you get energy by taking a stimulant, you crash later, so it's only temporary energy, just like coffee, which is why people drink coffee all day long. It wears off quickly and you crash. But most of the herbs in this, such as damiana, tribulus, etc.

Avatar n tn I'm a 21yr old male with hypothyroidism and a testosterone level of an 80 year old man. I had bloodwork done and my levels were flagged as abnormal low. I also suffer from Depression and Anxiety (panic attacks)....which is probably all due to my hypothyroidism. Is there some way I can naturally increase my testosterone levels through herbs or exercise? My doctor says I'm too young for patches or gels. So I'm kinda left in the dark here.
Avatar m tn I'm a 36 year old male and my urologist recommended I go on testosterone therapy (intramuscular injections 200mg every two weeks). I told him I still want to have kids someday, so he recommended I go on the testosterone therapy for 3 months and off 3 months and so on. I just finished my first 3 months and he warned me I would feel the effects coming off testosterone. Needless to say I have zero energy now, inability to focus, extremely tired and have a dull achy feel all around.
Avatar n tn i took an anabolic steroid cycle once before and used test boosters to workout. ill never do that again. My testosterone count is low and i was wondering if anybody could give me some advice. i have heard about zinc pills, as well as HCG. Would these bring me back to a normal count? anything you guys could give me is greatly appreciated!
Avatar m tn This has thrown the Medical Profession into the dark ages. I take herbs that have raised my testosterone from 390 to 1200 and I feel great. You do not have to go gentle into old age if you are willing to do something about it.
Avatar m tn m in ED recovery, and I did all on my own, I di a post on franktalk.org, under genral discussion, titled DRUGS VERSUS HERBS, HERBS MY CHOICE, all I can ask is give it a read, if you like what you read please give it a try, far cheaper than drugs, if you need any more just email me throungh my on line name.
798555 tn?1292787551 Can't imagine why anyone would recommend 5-HTP for adrenals. It's a metabolite of tryptophan, which helps manufacture serotonin. Nothing to do with adrenals directly, though it might be helpful for anxiety or depression sufferers. Valerian is a relaxant, affecting GABA, again not for adrenal support unless sleep deprivation is causing it. Using one herb to accomplish something isn't the best way to do this. Herbalists work with formulas.
Avatar m tn I dont think there are herbs that will do that. Im sure you will spend a bunch of money finding that out though, sounds like your mind is made up. Id suggest kegel exercises to keep the blood flow to the area good, a clean diet, and some red wine. Im 40 and I get rock hard with that routine with no real foreplay required, just some making out. I can usually do it 2x a day no problem, but the whole 'multiple rounds' in succession hasnt really been in my book since I was in college.
Avatar n tn Male enhancement supplements not only help enhance erections and create penis enlargement, they also help boost libido and sex drive, increase testosterone levels and sperm count, and improve overall health. Choose a male enhancement supplement that contains all-natural ingredients like herbs and nutraceuticals because they are usually safe and effective. I recommend you MensHealthInstitute.Org. It provides lots of information on best male enhancement products for your healthier sex life.
Avatar n tn From browsing the Internet, all the information I have ever received is that masturbation causes certain chemicals in your brain to be over stimulated and over produced(specifically neurotransmitters) and that it also lowers testosterone levels. My question is, what are the short or long term effects(if they exist in reality) of the over stimulation of these neurological chemicals and the lowering of testosterone, will it affect my cognitive function, memory?
Avatar n tn Hi to both of you, my first question is why did both of you have this done so late in life, as it should have been done either as children or as youths, apart form the fact that it may have caused cancer of the undescended testicles, so the operation helps prevent it.
Avatar m tn Herbs hold an obvious appeal for many people because they support the body's natural healing mechanisms to target the cause of the problem, as opposed to merely tackling the symptoms. It would be wrong to present herbal hair loss remedies as a miracle solution for all sufferers - there is however growing evidence to support the view that some herbal remedies offer real hope to many people.
Avatar m tn Hello, Chap. I think your birth year coincides with mine. On to your question... Before I get there, know that I am NOT a medical doctor. However, I do participate on testosterone forums (in fact, I belong to an excellent forum on yahoo which consists of men recovering from low testosterone. A few of the members there are medical doctors, as well.) Libido is complicated, influenced by more than simply testosterone. That said, we should consider the actual results from your bloodwork.
