Avatar m tn s gynecomastia for sure because fat deposits are symmetric. Gynecomastia can often be unilateral. You probably have "permanent" gyneomastia on that side. Surgical excision is the only remedy I am familiar with for that. If occurring due to a particular medication or frequent pot use, cessation of that agent may possibly reduce it (at least reduce the tenderness part).
Avatar f tn I've had man boobs for years now. I'm not overweight at all. I'm a little over 6 ft and about 180 lbs. I looked it up and it's supposed to go away after a while, but it's still there. I'm over 17 and I've had this problem since like the 6th grade. It's obviously not going away. I tried working out, but that only really built muscle and didn't do anything at all. Should I get my hormones tested or do I not have to worry?

Avatar m tn Will insurance pay for the test to be done? My symptoms are gynecomastia, erectile dysfunction, body aches, blurry vision, back pain, headaches, fatigue, soft tender lump on inner thigh and stomach and testicular pain. I have no lumps on or in my testicles that I can feel. I had a basic blood test and a hormone test done nothing indicating testicular cancer, but testosterone was low but within range. Doctor did a testicular exam but no ultrasound.
