I have been battling with low testosterone for a few years and trying to address it through natural means. Lost 20 lbs body fat (Now 5'08" 156 lbs 13 % BF), added heavy weight lifting in 3x weekly, eat a low carb high vegetable intake diet with more than adequate fat content, etc. Sadly doesnt seem to be helping.

With all the results you have, I hate to ask, but could you just post your TSH Free T3 and Free T4 and include the reference ranges provided for each? Ranges vary fron lab to lab, that is why they are needed to see how you are with your thyroid, as far as Testosterone is concerned, it normally does not affect the thyroid levels.
I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago and my tests showed a tsh 7.32 my t4 was 1.1 free t3 7.2. The test also showed that my testosterone was very low and my pituitary was very high. My doctor referred me to an endo but they can't get me in for a couple of months, so the Dr. did more tests. I just got those results and am very confused. The testosterone is good, pituitary good and my Tsh is .64, T4=.8 and freet3=3.4. I still feel cruddy. These test were less than 2 weeks apart.
You had no risk and were conclusively negative before you tested.
Oral and masturbation are no risk since the virus is effectively dead in air and also in saliva. Condom is zero risk for obvious reasons.
It is abnormal to test repeatedly for a disease that you have negative results for. Now that you know that all of the tests were pointless, it will be a phobia if you continue testing or worrying about HIV.
Alternatively, you could have a problem with your adrenal glands, and they could be over producing testosterone. I am going to assume that if your MRI showed anything abnormal, they would have called you, but I would also encourage you to call them for results! Its important to know all the information!
Depending upon what your risk for blood clots is, you might be able to use depo-Provera to suppress the ovaries and the testosterone.
But I thought I would ask, is anyone that has PCOS symptoms (high testosterone, insulin resistance) and on BCP on any other BCP besides Yasmin, and does it control PCOS symptoms? Have you seen any side effects?

I am a 47 year old man and recently (29Mar2018) had an annual physical exam. I am 6 feet tall and weigh 295 lbs which is put me as clinically obsess and has a lot of risk especially around type 2 diabetes. I have been managing GERD for the past 20 years through medication such a Tagamet, Prilosec, Prevacid and now Nexium. I had a gastric endoscopy (UGI) performed 10 years ago and showed no sign of abnormalities.
Getting on the Testosterone therapy has many cautions and seems a bit intimidating...both from a side effects standpoint, and from a long term, life long need perspective.
Any experiences out there with this issue post-tx? Hey Jim, are you still around eyeballing this place from time to time? Copyman?? any others that have had direct experience with the low T???
Women with high testosterone levels have been studied in regard to pregnancy because high testosterone levels are a feature of PCOS. The outcomes seem to be that the risk of miscarriage is higher and the risk of low-birthweight babies is higher. But nothing I've seen says taking this for one single day will cause you to miscarry.
Please talk to your ob-gyn, but stop taking the prohormones if you want to protect the pregnancy. Good luck.
s right for you. Testosterone (and most hormone replacement therapies) have a ton of side effects. One of the more serious is an increased risk of blood clots. Take it from me, someone who has had blood clots that went into my lungs and almost killed me, this is not a pleasant experience. I would definitely weigh the benefits vs. risk with this.
But long term use of testosterone and other steroids have transient effects and there is no scientific evidence that performance is enhanced. There is abuse liability so I would suggest you to follow up with a physician or endocrinologist for case to case prescriptions.

Hi. Recently, my 14 year old terrier has been diagnosed with a very large prostate. The vet doesn't know if it's a tumor or just BPH. Anyway, he wants to neuter my dog to see if the swelling goes down. He said if it's prostate cancer, there is nothing we can do anyway. I have read the advantages and disadvantages of neutering and the disadvantages at his age seem to far outweight the advantages.
Weight gain is a function or common when low on either and in your case BOTH, low thyroid and low Testosterone.
Do not be fooled. Testosterone is extremely important for women, especially at your age! By volume women have 3 times more testosterone than estrogen. (Stall FAR less than a man) but this should still tell you how important testosterone is to healthy woman. Yet most doctors completely ignore it.
High cholesterol is also associated with low testosterone, as well as low thyroid.
The doctor checked my testosterone level due to and adverse affect of opiates, and I didnot have any. He put me on supplemental testosterone, but I have read it would come back naturally and taking supplements will stop the natural production of my testosterone. Anyone had this issue.

came across a low thyroid problem one year ago and now facing testosterone problems im at total of 304 and I am having sex problems too.I told my regular dr. About sayd it was all in my head tht everything was okay. I went to another place were they do hormone test and took my own list of test I wanted done im not gona lie there were like 20 test I wanted done amr they were just missing 2 tht ran me around $600... I still havent gone to get my results.... by the way im on armour thyroid 30mg.
