Avatar n tn I have been suffering from terrible pain and have been put on some pretty strong narcotics. This has went on for 14 years before a Great pain Dr and New Personal MD ran tests and found these issues thus far. My question is, how long will it take for my Vitamin D to return to normal with Megadoses of D3/Calcium and Testerone Treatments? Months? Years? I also found I'm very constipated, I have went through 4 bottles of mag cit. and have been taking miralax twice daily.

Avatar f tn I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with taking narcotics during entire pregnancy (be it prescribed or not) and what the outcome of the baby was. Any experience at all. I've had to be on them for a medical condition and I'm terrified for the baby to be born addicted. I've heard it totally depends, some are some aren't. My doctor seems to think the baby will be fine, but that is not good enough for me.
Avatar m tn m just wondering how fast that can change and how often would it be considered wise to check. with all the aches and pains in my back I feel I wouldn't know if my kidneys were giving me pain as opposed to my back. Maybe this isn't even a concern with my dosage but I thought I'd ask.

Avatar f tn I have been lurking for a few months and this is my first time posting. I have been in PM for almost a year now. Originally it began as lower back pain which i have had 3 steroid injections with minimal relief and then 2 facet blocks with moderate relief. I was also taking 2 5/325 percocets per day with adequate relief. I am a Mom of a 5 year old and am not looking for an addiction problem on top of my pain problems.

415399 tn?1209504302 I totally know how you feel, I am frustrated in much of the same ways you are. My boyfriend suffers from PE and has his whole life. Now, I'm sure that being on narcotics isn't helping your sex life, and I know how frustrating it is. I have had the same "couch" nights you have had. I am frustrated because I love the man, and he is affectionate, but he thinks that THAT is enough. I Don't want to settle for just affection, I think you shouldn't either!

484508 tn?1290010544 See if this helps,If you have been diagnosed as having too much testosterone and you want to rid yourself of the symptoms, the best course of treatment is bio-identical hormone therapy (BHT). Over the past few decades, physicians have prescribed either synthetic hormones or hormones derived from animals. Hormones from both of these sources can have undesirable side effects. Look for a doctor that will prescribe bio-identical hormones.
