I am told that it is okay to breastfeed even if you are HBV positive. My concern is this; I did some research and found that it is not good to stop medication, which is what I thought I would do after giving birth so that I can breastfeed.

Is there a way I can have a prescription from a doctor when buying tenofovir online? Here in the Philippines, the drug is not yet available and the doctors are not prescribing it since it is not available. I'm planning to take tenofovir but having trouble in getting prescription, so i cannot order online.

most of the doctors practicing here are even not aware about this drug. I ve seen a lot a physicians still prescribing lamivudine then what better can u expect from them.

In my opinion it is unlikely to be related to Tenofovir. You should check your ALT and viral load. Otherwise try taking Tenofovir with food?
ve had my first appointment with the infectious disease department at the hospital on Monday and the doctor has given me some information on Hep B and listened to my chest and back..I did a load of blood test to verify my viral load. She said in the UK, we no longer do liver biopsy, they will flip the liver to check whether it is sore or not then we can determine whether I need medication. Does anyone know what flipping the liver means and how it is performed?
You have not provided much information. To test whether your father has responded to Tenofovir treatment, he should test his viral load (hbvdna) and ALT in about 6 months' time. Tenofovir is very effective, his viral load and ALT should come down significantly from the baseline values. Generally, Tenofovir has to taken for at least several years or longer.
My doctor let me have Viread. I checked online at pharmacy checker. Tenofovir Disoproxil Fumarate Tablet and Viread Tablet, are they the same in treatment wise? I went to CVS store, it cost 1000 USD to 30/300mg for Viread Tablet. is it too expensive? The staff there told me generic tablet is not available. But why I see it online as I said earlier?
What happens if I take brand and then switch to generic like a year later? Will the generic medicine do the same?

I had a regime that first included Pegasys (had to quite early because white blood cells were dangerously low, then Tenofovir. The virus was discovered after my immunization did not produce the results that it should have. In summary: immunization, then Pegasys, then Tenofovir. I also used a lot of alternative things as well: cranberry juice to keep liver/kidneys flushed out, 2 milk thistle capsules every day, meditation, cod liver oil, vitamins.

Just looking for anymore information or advise about withdraws from Fioricet / I have been taking this medication from years from Migrain headaches, it's seemed the longer I was on it the less it helped so I would increase my doses because I could not get rid of my headaches the other day I just stopped using it because it was like just this non stop headache.
