Avatar f tn she has 4 teeth at top and 4 teeth at bottom she also has 4 big teeth at back, she dribbles terrible and often gets sores on her face where she dribbles during her sleep. i have now got her a dentist appointment for Friday. when she smiles her bottom teeth completely cover her top teeth i think it may be a protruding lower jaw than her teeth not being straight. hopefully i can get some answers Friday thanks for reply!
Avatar f tn If they are back teeth and wisdom teeth will come in later in life anyways to fill up that spot. I was just wondering if that is an option. I didn't bring it up with the dentist yet.
Avatar f tn but what is the possibilty of being able to walk in the future in most cases if subjected to physotherapy?
Avatar f tn t impacted or anything and has been previously filled, but as a result of overcrowding it is extremely difficult to floss and is causing some problems - hence the removal. Can someone put my mind at rest - I have two small children and can't afford to be laid up for days in pain - should I ask for a hospital referal? (Not that this would solve my child care problems, but at least I'd be asleep!!!!). Any advice gratefully received.
Avatar n tn Post-op discomfort after wisdom teeth removal may last weeks. Wisdom teeth are frequent occlusal interference. It's common patients feel the jaw position or bite is different after wisdom teeth removal. This is probably what you described " misaligned". If you do'nt have temporomandibular disorder, the bite will be realigned after a couple of weeks. If you do have tmd problems, seeing a tmj specialist is advised.
Avatar f tn Hi. I can't believe I allowed the dentist to take out my wisdom teeth a week ago, they were all in perfect alignment & functioned like perfectly normal teeth, minus one which had grown in from the side & the other one which was impacted... But I probably only had pain twice whenh they were coming through, then after that I had no pain at all again.
Avatar f tn I would like you to save the teeth and avoid having to wear a removal partial denture at your age. I can not give you an opinion without seeing the teeth.
Avatar f tn just curious if any one else flossed there kids teeth at 3 (besides making her happy and getting her use to it) cause her teeth hardly touch or have food stuck in them yet.

Avatar f tn Removal!! Plain and simple :-) I had to have my wisdom teeth removed. But since I not sure exactly what about your teeth is bothering you so much, I can't really offer much help. Care to share? I have a few great tips!!!
Avatar f tn Also, since most of these teeth are still vital, will the procedure of crown removal disturb the abutment teeth and cause pain in the future? What is the chance of damaging the abutment teeth during the crown removal?
1808278 tn?1338484942 One year into Dilantin and I have to have four front teeth pulled. Previously healthy. Gums are in good order as I brush them 5x daily.

Avatar m tn It varies from person to person but it can last up to a week in terms of pain. It might still be sore or annoying for several weeks but generally, the worse of it is over in a week or less. I've had patients who have bounced back in several days and other's who take the whole week. Has the symptoms improved at all since the extractions?
Avatar m tn I have but mine is with any thing that is salt! i had mine taken out in 08' and they left chipped peices of tooth still in there. right afterwards well the doc said it was the stiches. well two days later i had to dig the chipped peices out! and what not!
Avatar n tn I now have loss sensitivity in the bottom part of my jaw, gumline, and teeth. I also cannot feel the upper left front tooth. Also the left side of my chin and bottom part of my face are numb. I wanted to know what I should do I was told that this can last up to a year. I‘m much more proactive then reactive so I want to take the necessary steps to see what I can do to fix this, I’m only 26 and would hate to feel like this for the next year.
Avatar m tn I should know, I had one happen on the one side and the other happen on the other side in the SAME TIME frame. Not to mention rotting other teeth. Were did you get this information about unnecessary fillings?
874521 tn?1424116797 Leaving the tartar and bacteria showers to other organs damaging them -- see more in bloodwork comments next. As this hard cement line tartar is removed, microscopic scratches are put in the teeth, which - if not polished out, will result in deeper seeded quicker return to the same tartar level often within a month. Hand scaling to get this tartar off put bigger scratches in and still need thorough polishing to not make the problem worse than it was a month previously.
Avatar n tn Hey all. I don't know why but for a month or so now I've had a really acute pain in my bottom left side of my gum, I've attached a picture to show you the area. Whenever my gum is tapped slightly from the outside I get a kind of pain shooting up in the teeth in that area. It's not only one tooth either, it's a couple of them dependant on where I tap. This painful sensation also occurs whilst I'm shaving that area, so it's quite sensitive.
