2080404 tn?1643113754 Ugh I can't seem to win. My tooth finally healed, gods it was so sore. Now another tooth feels infected. The gum is all inflamed and the tooth is cracked. Hurts like hell but I've been taking OTC pain medicine and keeping an eye on it. No swelling, thankfully. Just pain. Now my other tooth is hurting cuz I had to chew on that side earlier in the day. How am I supposed to eat anything if I have a tooth on either side acting up??

Me and the dentist think im alil more sensitive because of my pregnancy. ... especially since my lil bean is sucking all the nutrients out of me. Avatar f tn A bunch of my back teeth are broke off to the gum and my front teeth look so awful. My babies has took all the calcium out of them.
Avatar f tn Has anyone had any teeth problems while be pregnant? Today while eating part of my tooth came out. I've never had problems ever!! I've had sicknesses for the past 8 wks wondering if that has anything to do with it.
Avatar n tn My understanding is the back upper and lower teeth are 3's. There were some 4's before I started treatment. I am 42, great health, nonsmoker, athletic, have always taken care of teeth-so I am not sure why this happened to my teeth. Also, where can I get the rubber-tipped tooth brush described? Does one ever really get a grip on or get rid of perio?
Avatar f tn However, had similar problems with dentists when i lived in Michigan since some of my dental problems originated there after my wisdom teeth were reomoved and started to get the TMJ syndrome. Also had 1 filling between 2 molars done by a dentist due to 1 decay between 2 teeth. After that had to do 1 crown to remove that bad filling.
Avatar f tn Ohh yes I too had pain in gums..and one day all of sudden it starts bleeding..I heard its the pregnancy hormones that causes pain n bleeding..I m 12 weeks pregnant. .
Avatar f tn Do you have any problems with swelling that creates difficulty in breathing as well? It sounds like your wisdom teeth are giving you problems based upon your dentist's evaluation. I highly recommend getting an oral surgeon to take a look and remove them if necessary. It is VERY dangerous when there is problems with swallowing and/or breathing associated with dental infections.
Avatar f tn t healed from the root canal, hoping this would solve all the problems, but then again it may not resolve the pain in my upper teeth and I hear it takes a long time for some teeth to heal after a root canal and this tooth was worked on at least three times) This has been my only experience having any dental work done besides a few simple fillings in my mouth so I don't have anything to compare it with my own experience. Thanks again.
Avatar f tn I felt like my vision was off center, I had shoulder pain, neck pain. sinus problems, and stuffy itchy ears, and feelings of being off balance. I was told its all in my mind ,but that was back some years ago. I eventually got an ortho who put me on a night guard.. i would grind my teeth so hard at night I cracked the dang thing! The night guard didnt seem to help me much, as I was just grinding, and biting on it. It might have saved some teeth, but didnt help my tmj in the least.
Avatar f tn The extraction site still throbs but I expect that is nornal and will settle. The pain and throbbing goes round to my chin but it is only the teeth either side of the1st(?) molar that are sensitive to touch. I sometimes get pins and needles along that side in particular near my chin. It is possible to get a difficult to detect infection in the bone around this area.
Avatar n tn Now both places where the teeth have been removed are swollen around the area and is covered with white stuff in the hole where teeth were. I am in extreme pain. Can you tell me if that would be an infection in those places? Thanks!
Avatar m tn yup it can imageine what its doing to our insides
9602111 tn?1443721049 Yes pregnancy can cause sensitivity and pain in teeth but that isn't very common and I've never heard of that being anyone's first symptom lol. Take a test if you think you're pregnant but if all you have is bad pain in your teeth I'd say no you're not pregnant. You probably have a bad cavity so get in to the dentist.
1793142 tn?1315379376 Does anyone else with autoimmune problems have severe tooth decay so bad teeth need to come out? My teeth have been having such severe decay that they need to come out. I take really good care of my teeth because I have had such problems but despite brushing, flossing, listerine daily, by the time of my next dental visit there is another tooth rotted.
Avatar f tn I have never had dental problems but for the last 2 weeks, my teeth hae become incredibly sensitive to hot/cold and also ache all the time even when Im not eating or drinking... Could one of the meds Im on be causing this? Also, could one of thee meds be causing my eyes to be very dry?
Avatar n tn Six months ago I went for a check up with my local dentist. On this day I was told my teeth were perfectly healthy however he took an x-ray to make sure. When this x-ray was taken I was then told that I needed 8 fillings. He said they were all surface fillings on the enamel that were not visable to the naked eye. I was shocked as I have had weak gums from a young age so have always brushed, flossed and used mouthwash and have never experienced the slightest discomfort with regards to my teeth.
Avatar m tn A lot of people have extra teeth, and go their entire life with no problems. Unless you are having pain, I'd leave them alone! You'd know if you have nerve damage.
