I hardly ever forget to take my meds. The times that I have forgotten to take them is when I'm feeling good,,and I've truly forgotten, I wasn't thinking that I didn't need them. Although I do believe I could go without them, I don't, for my family's sake. I guess that says something about how I feel about myself that I take something for someone else s well being and not necessarily my own.

I don't think your pdoc is being an extremist at all. After all, he is the dr, we are the patient. I would hope with his education, on this matter, is a whole lot more than ours. I took Neurotin for 7 days. Starting at only 100mg per day. On the 4th day it was increased to 200mg. Mind you these are very low doses. On the 5th day I felt as if there was a lump in my throat and got the worst tremors in my face and the front of my neck. It has been pure hell. It has been an absolute nightmare.

Okay so I have struggled with anxiety for awhile, have frequent anxiety attacks. But I also have this weird fear or medicine besides medicine I've already taken... Whenever I get sick and am prescribed medicine I'm terrified to take it. I look up the side effects, and like scare myself. I do not take medicine for anxiety for that reason... I'm afraid of side effects. Does anyone ever feel like this or does anyone have advice?
