t know where to post this question, someone knows if pde5 inhibitors and specifically tadalafil (cialis) are reversible enzyme inhibitors? and can you explain why from a chemical and pharmacological point of view? So, is the inhibition reversible or irreversible and why? I know it is not an easy question but I can't find on the internet this answer.
I'm 28. I am capable of getting proper erection any time of the day except for being in bed with a girl. After clinical check and running tests the doctor confirmed that my sex drive is healthy and functioning and that my problem is purely psychological. Performance medications help sometimes help (sildenafil, tadalafil, vardelafil, .. ). But in other times they just don't have any effect.
I tried sildenafil and tadalafil and both worked very well only a few first times - later the was a small or sometimes no response. My testosterone is high (810) and no smoking, not overweight, blood work works O.K.
I'm 56 years old. Any suggestions?
Hi. So did you take the dose as prescribed by your doctor? That's within the range of dosing offered. But not likely where someone is started if you are new to it. Has it worked for you before? One of the biggest issues with it working properly is timing of sex. Too soon, won't work right. Too long after taking it, won't work right. Another way it is prescribed to help is to take a lower dose (often 2.5 mg) but every day at the same time each day.Then it is in your system.
I am really tensed as I do get early morning elections or elections during masturbatinng consumed tadalafil 10 mg later in the night and found it effective in erection. Do I need to get aroused by rubbing etc? Plz reply as I am tensed.

I sincerely feel that you should consult a urologist for the same if the oral medications are not able to treat the ED. I hope you have tadalafil also apart from sildenafil. The next step is usually papaverine injection but needs to be given by an expert only. I sincerely hope that helps. Take care.
I am facing problem of frequent and severe urge of urinating from last 5-6 weeks. It started all of a sudden. I was not having any urological problems till now exept ED which started since last 9-10 months. My doc prescribed me with peroxitene and tadalafil for ED and I completed the medication 5 days back. Now I need to urinate atleast 10-12 times a day even after drinking much less amount of water(only 1-1.5ltr/day).

Tadalafil (Cialis) has had a few side effects with long-term use, but these have not been conclusively attributed to the drug.
Headaches, indigestion, back and muscle pains, etc., have been considered the minor side effects of this drug.
Longer-term use can cause vision impairment due to optic neuropathy and has also been reported to cause sudden deafness.
Further studies regarding the long-term use of this drug are underway and are yet to be conclusively reported upon.
You saying you are an impatient person does not mean diddly. Just because you are impatient does not mean the medication is going to work faster for you. The reality is because you are impatient, you need to find things to occupy your mind. Start an exercise program, practice meditation, get outside and chop some wood. Anything that is going to take you away from sitting in your house feeling sorry for yourself. Like I said, we have all been where you are.
I was prescribed zoloft 50 mg on the 16 it worked great I felt great now 10 days later not working so well I am starting to feel very sad again? does this mean it isn't the drug for me?
