Avatar n tn Today, my right testicle appears to be about a centimeter lower than it was yesterday, and it is significantly swollen. It aches a little, but the pain is not nearly as bad as it was. What should I do?
Avatar n tn The pain sometimes radiates to the lower abdomen. Testicular pain can be due to injury, infection (Epididymitis or Orchitis) or inflammation, testicular torsion -- most common in young men between 10 and 20 years old, excessive bicycle riding, hernia or kidney or ureteric stones.

Avatar m tn 1/13/09) I laid down in the morning on my stomach only to feel an extremely sharp knife-like pain just ABOVE the right sided testicle as it impacted. Since then, I haven't been able to sleep on my right or left side because of the on set of the pain at that same spot. I'm forced to sleep on my back for the time being. When I lift the testicle slightly, I feel the same sharp shooting pain that orginates just above the right-sided testicle.
Avatar m tn Later the next day my right testicle was swelling. I have been sleeping on my back because if I turned to my side my right testicle was killing me. Now 10 days after the injury the swelling is slowly going away and the pain as well. Am I going to be okay? I did ejaculate the day my testicle was swollen and it was very watery. Now it is okay tho.

Is your husband having painful, red or swollen scrotum along with testicular pain. It can be epididymitis or orchitis.
Avatar m tn This can trigger a spasm in the muscles that attach the testicle to the spermatic cord, causing it to twist. The chances of testicular torsion are greater if the piece of tissue that hooks the testicle to the inside of the scrotum is missing, allowing the testicle to float free. Sometimes, however, no specific reason for the twisting can be found. Signs/Symptoms When the spermatic cord twists, you will feel a sudden terrible pain in the testicle.
Avatar n tn What are possible causes of a swollen epididimys? My left testicle has a pea sized lump, I did some reading and saw that it could be a blockage... Any ideas?

Avatar m tn How are you? There are plenty of reasons for a testicle to swell. What are the other symptoms? Is there pain when it is swollen? Often, swollen testicles are caused by harmless fluid accumulations. Hydrocele occurs when fluid accumulates between the two membranes that cover the testicles and usually painless. One or both testicles may be swollen. Hydrocele swelling gradually increases over a period of weeks or months.
Avatar m tn A week ago I did a 10 miles bike-ride per day, for three days. Shortly after, my right testicle got swollen and if I sit in a certain way, that testicle is sore and that soreness extends to the lower abdomen. Also, when having sexual intercourse, I don't ejaculate at all, despise having orgasms as usual. Can you help me? Thank you for your attention and have a nice day.
Avatar f tn I have been taking the ibuprofen as needed but my penis even when not erect still looks swollen, but no burning and the itching cooled down after I took a shower after 3 days due to inability to touch my area. Is this an STI or what is this because I’ve never had complications like this before!!!!
Avatar n tn All throughout my life I have had issues with my testicles sometimes partially rotating and causing pain in an event I think to be a self resolving testicular torsion. A little over a year ago I sustained an trauma injury to my left testicle but did not have insurance so I didn’t immediately get it checked out.
Avatar m tn Hello, The causes of testicular pain could be due to injury, testicular torsion, inflammation of testis, epididymitis, mumps, testicular tumor, hernia, varicocele, urinary stones, sexually transmitted disease. Since the cause could not be identified, I suggest you to get a repeat ultrasound or a color Doppler done from a urologist. I hope it helps. Take care and regards.
Avatar n tn Dear expert/doctor, I am 26 year old male who suffered from testicular cancer in rigth testicle. I am wondering if injury due to accidental urethral insertion of some object while masturbating can be the cause? Please advise me as I am very anxious at this moment.
