Thankyou for your answer, I had taken a few salt baths but i will make them more frequest as you suggest. The testicle itself seems to be fine no pain no tenderness is it possible the abscess is causing the tenderness in the cord? Or is this a possibly more serious problem?

1/13/09) I laid down in the morning on my stomach only to feel an extremely sharp knife-like pain just ABOVE the right sided testicle as it impacted. Since then, I haven't been able to sleep on my right or left side because of the on set of the pain at that same spot. I'm forced to sleep on my back for the time being. When I lift the testicle slightly, I feel the same sharp shooting pain that orginates just above the right-sided testicle.
Later the next day my right testicle was swelling. I have been sleeping on my back because if I turned to my side my right testicle was killing me. Now 10 days after the injury the swelling is slowly going away and the pain as well.
Am I going to be okay? I did ejaculate the day my testicle was swollen and it was very watery. Now it is okay tho.

All throughout my life I have had issues with my testicles sometimes partially rotating and causing pain in an event I think to be a self resolving testicular torsion. A little over a year ago I sustained an trauma injury to my left testicle but did not have insurance so I didn’t immediately get it checked out.

The causes of testicular pain could be due to injury, testicular torsion, inflammation of testis, epididymitis, mumps, testicular tumor, hernia, varicocele, urinary stones, sexually transmitted disease. Since the cause could not be identified, I suggest you to get a repeat ultrasound or a color Doppler done from a urologist.

But since a few days, i have been experiencing uneasiness in my left testicle on touching. moreover it feels like my left testicle has got more veins than the right one after the incident. i have no problem in masturbating, but i am a bit concerned about any underlying problem.
