Ringworm can cause regional lymphadenopathy. Lymphadenopathy (swollen lymph nodes) is usually caused by an infection which may be bacterial, viral or fungal in nature. Infection may also be associated with painful regional lymphadenopathy, especially in the inflammatory variants. Apply warm compresses on the lymph nodes and complete the treatment for ringworm as prescribed by your doctor. Once ringworm is treated, lymph nodes will come back to their normal size.
If you are seeing swollen lymph nodes in addition- it's a really good idea to get to a doctor so this can be treated properly. You will also want to make sure that the area where the 'craters' are stays clean- in order to keep other germs from getting in there.
Since then I had many different symptoms, coughs, oral ulcer on my lower lip every 3-4 months(never had that before on my lip), all kind of rashes, but the worst symptoms are swollen lymph nodes in my neck, groins and armpits, and balanitis which I have for two years now. By July 30th my lymph nodes under my jawline on each side are swollen and still low grade fever. August 4th tried an antibiotic for 10 days (I think DexClav?) but did not help. Today, 8-26-2013, lips tingle on/off (not as bad as before) but the neck lymph nodes are horrible. Very sore on left side especially. Cant get a doctor to take me seriously. I Saw a dentist today looking for answers but she said my mouth and teeth are fine.
doctor im still worried, its been 9 month since the protected vaginal and oral exposure. I have had swollen nodes for a while now, although they seem to be getting smaller recently, im also getting small red bumps around my body, not sure if these are just spots or not. I also have these white lumps inside my lower lip that dont hurt and are slightly moveable.

I tried to ignore them hoping they go away but I have 1 that is visible on my left side when I turn my neck that isn't getting any smaller, if anything maybe a little bigger or harder. Ive been to my family doctor and she found another on my right side that isn't as obvious but still there.
I am a 34 year old female, I've had swollen lymph nodes under arms and armpits for a while, nausea, fatigue, weak, night sweats and fevers, paracarditis, dyspnea, palpatations, and general body aches and pains. The cbc indicated that I have low rbc, mpv, and high plt. The Dr. said it's eiter a virus or leukemia. Is this true? What could this mean?
Three days after this latest encounter I woke up with a swollen upper lip (right in the middle under my nose) that looks as though it may be developing into a cold sore (never had a cold sore in my life?). The lymph nodes in my neck are also very swollen. Could I have contracted HSV-1 or HSV-2. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

ve received unprotected oral 6 times total within the span of a year or less and after the 5th time my groin lymph nodes swelled up and my penis turned a weird shape for a day or 2 like it was swollen just before it makes the tip of my penis then on the bottom left hand corner of my bottom lip this bump or lump occurred swelled up for a about 30 min or so then it went away then another one came back about a month after. and I started to get what looked like acne on both of my inner thighs.
Unfortunately, diagnosis is not possible in an online forum. There are literally hundreds of causes for swollen lymph nodes, and the bumps could easily be a result of the cold sore. A cold sore is a virus, and can trigger various immune responses. I'd keep my fingers off the bumps (and the nodes) and see if they go away in a few days. If they don't, or if they get worse (without poking/prodding), then a doctor's visit is in order.
About 2-3 weeks later (2 days ago), I woke up with extremely swollen lips and pain behind my top lip. I had red patches behind my lip, on my cheeks (inside of mouth), and the roof of my mouth. It's very painful and I haven't been able to eat a full meal because of it.
The red patches have turned white and now I have 8-10 in my mouth. My lymph nodes in my neck are also swollen.
I am not showing any other symptoms of HIV, no flu like symptoms, no fever, no rash.

On December 13th, 2014, I went to a friend's house party and accidentally drank from someone's beer bottle. At the time I had a couple open bleeding wounds on my lip. Within 10 days, I experienced the worst flu-like symptoms in my life. I had rash, thrush, horrible sore throat, swollen tonsils, high fever and chills, and had the most horrible night sweats in my life. All symptoms disappeared after 14 days. Unfortunately, my swollen lymph nodes remained.

Which came non reactive.

Over the next few days that cut disappeared but my upper lip still felt a bit painful and swollen in the middle where the veins are. Yesterday the middle of my upper lip swelled a bit but today it is back to normal.
This morning I awoke to find a "pimple" under my tongue on the right side of my saliva gland at the base of my tongue. It is on the bottom / side of my tongue not the bony part of my lower mouth. The area is red and swollen and more lightly colored in the middle.
