My dog has had 4 visits to the vet this last week - due to swollen glands. She has been having problems with her ears, the vet gave me some ointment to put in to help clear the wax. Occasionally the glands would come up and the vet would give an anti-biotic and anti-inflammatory injection.
I had been anay for a few days and came home to Mushu looking as if she had a plastic bag of water around her neck. The Vet said it was the lymph nodes and nothing to do with her ears.
It has now been a month that my neck glands and my throat glands have been swollen steady. It is not sore, the only pain I feel is when they start to grow bigger, when ever i'm chewing and swallowing it will feel like a pinch sometimes, but not always. I went to my doctor early this week, but he's not sure whether to put my on antibotics for 2 weeks or not because he thinks it could either make it better or make me feel worse.
I also forgot to mention that I have started having pain on the upper left side of my neck. It started shortly after the glands under my ears became swollen and painful. I think they must be related in someway...but it still doesn't explain the lymph nodes I have that are painless and constantly swollen...
Hello. I'm becoming increasingly worried about swollen glands in my neck. The swelling is located on either side of my neck, roughly half an inch below the mastoid process (these might be the upper cervical lymph nodes but I'm not sure). They can't be seen, but when I feel my neck they feel hard. I've had them now for about three weeks. My only other symptoms: a slight sore throat that comes and goes, and a very infrequent cough.
We took our almost 7 year old pit bull out on a hike yesterday in a big open field behind our home. When we returned home, within the hour my boyfriend noticed that her neck glands were swollen on both sides. It was as though she may have eaten something on the trail that might have given her this reaction but we are not sure. She wasn't swollen before the hike so we know that something caused her glands to react like this.

I have also had constantly swollen glands at the back left side of the neck and near my left armpit since fall. The glands in my neck (under my jaw) have been swollen for about 4 months now. They have never really hurt. But i've been getting sick (mainly just symptoms of a cold. Runny nose, post nasal drip or a headache a few times. And once i had a sore throat) off and on the whole time. Though, when i do get better i still have mucus that i'm hawking up throughout the day (its usually clear or bright yellow).
Unfourtnalty a swollen gland appeared under my neck 2 days ago. There is no pain when I touch it what so ever, I told my father about this and he said I had them as a child swollen glands appearing out of no where with no pain, could this be history repeating its self? i assume swollen glands in the neck means inflamed lymph nodes? our 6 yr. old was seen today for a fever and sore throat complaint. the ped. said she has a throat infection and swollen glands and prescribed meds. she did check other areas of her body for glands (at least that is what i think she was feeling for). about 7 weeks ago she had the same thing (tho the whole family passed around a fever/infection). should we be overly concerned that she has been sick like this twice in two months?
I was tested for STDs about 6 weeks after the incident (not HIV tested though) and all tests came back negative, Within the past week, the glands in my neck, underarms and right side of my groin have been swollen (I can feel them when I push on them) and I am very tired. I have been researching HIV and now I am terrified that is what it is!!!! I know I should get tested. Any other advice?
My neck has been swollen for 2 days now it feels like there is something on the right side tugging it tightly. I use warm water for the pain it. The pain goes and comes back and forth for 2 days. I had a cold and after i notice this just came up on the right side. I havent seen a doctor as yet should i see.....

About 3 months ago I got swollen lymph nodes under my arms, large, around my neck and under my collar bone, both sides and above my elbows, about 4 glands each side above my elbows. I now have a rash on my forehead and sometimes on my arms, which when I scratch turn bright red, like I could scratch my name in. I have a bright red rash around my neck which disappears when i touch it and reappears brighter after. After a shower it is bright red. Could this be lymphoma??
