Do swollen glands from hiv constantly appear and disappear sometimes for several months or do they only appear during ars. Would heavy alcohol drinking make your hiv swollen glands reappear. I have a right swollen gland. I also get severe sweats during the day. This seems to worsen prior to my period. I am not going through menapause. In the past I was checked for pheochromocytoma. Is there any type of hormone that makes your glands swell and gives you SEVERE night sweats.I am also fatigued. Are there any glands on the outer part of the ear canal? That seems to swell at the same time to the point of closing the ear canal and impeding on my hearing.
I gave oral sex to a man where I deepthroated and swallowed, and then a little over 6 weeks later I vomited one morning and had low appetite and energy for close to a week, and had night sweats a few times during that period, up to 10 days later where I still had a small amount of weakness.

Sex during the Window Period ! On April 9, 2014 I had an high risk exposure to hiv to someone whose been infected over twenty years. However, during the window period I still engaged in risky activity. My last hiv test was 19 weeks after the exposure with the known hiv positive individual. Considering that I had multiple exposure during the window period starting April 9 and ending August 30th.
Around November 7th, I developed what I assumed to be a run of the mill sinus infection. I had a lot going on with an ill family member, and didn't do my usual home treatment. It stuck around until around Thanksgiving. During that time, I was on a 7-day course of penicillin (root canal) and went through a bought of some stomach bug. The penicillin didn't do anything to help my sinus symptoms.
The symptoms of the sinus infection are gone, but there are a few annoyances still lingering.
I have had HIV DUO test at 6, 12 and 22 weeks all negative. However no post 7 months exposure my left glands are swollen and seem to have a blockage filled with mucus. Doctor has advised it is inflamation of Salivary glands. My worry is am i having a late sero conversion as internet keep stating that swollen salivary especially parotid gland is an indication of HIV? Please help share your thoughts. I am horrified and very anxious. I have had eye burning and dry mouth along with this.
i assume swollen glands in the neck means inflamed lymph nodes? our 6 yr. old was seen today for a fever and sore throat complaint. the ped. said she has a throat infection and swollen glands and prescribed meds. she did check other areas of her body for glands (at least that is what i think she was feeling for). about 7 weeks ago she had the same thing (tho the whole family passed around a fever/infection). should we be overly concerned that she has been sick like this twice in two months?
Its way too late after the fact to be worrying about these symptoms. Swollen glands usually happen in early HIV. Plus if you havent been diagnosed with swolen glands then you are juts speculating. Stop researching on the internet before you go crazy.
Heres the simple solution, go to the local clinic tommorow and get a rapid HIV test, you can be in and out with conclusiove results in under an hour. Problem solved.

Swollen glads could be a number of different things. Too hard to pin point what it could or could not be based on limited info.
If you ae concernned about it, go to your Dr and get checked out.
hi, i got a sore throat about 2 months ago, the doctor diagnosed tonsilitis, and put me on calvepen, this got rid of the fever symptons but my glands stayed swollen an my throat stayed red, when the fever came back a few weeks later i went back and he put me on augmenten, this had the same effect i went back last week and was put back on calvepen and he did a mono test which came back negative, but said my white blood cell count was high and it looked like i was at the tale end of a virus, somed
Is there reason to be concerned about the swollen glands? Should I take her back to the vet before the next visit 10/15?
