swollen feet or ankles

Any of you lady's have swollen feet/ankles? I work about 40 hours a week and my feet are killing me. What do you guys do to help your aching feet?

I had sudden swelling in my feet and ankles and had to get ultrasounds on both legs/ankles/feet to make sure I didn't have blood clots

I do have my feet up but is not helping

I never had swollen feet or ankles until I was 32 weeks. I was stuck in a hospital bed for over 24 hours and had 5 bags of fluid ran through me. Not counting what I drank. Next thing I knew when I got home, my ankles were full of fluid and so swollen. All I did was prop them up.

I've been experiencing swollen ankles & feet probably for the last month, but it used to be only when I was on them too much throughout the day. Just the last few days I've noticed they haven't gone back down like they normally do :/ But I'm with you on just wanting my body back already!

I am at work at the moment and all of a sudden my foot started stinging. After about 30 seconds the stinging was quite dull but i looked down at my foot and it was huge!!! i elevated it but it just got bigger. I'm on 50mg Imuran and 25mg Prednisolone daily. Wondering if either of these could be contributing but swollen feet and lower legs is supposed to be a rare side effect of Imuran but I've had swollen feet and legs since I started taking it...

You have only 6 weeks left to be considered full term. Swelling of feet is not very unusual at your stage. Swelling of face or hands/fingers is usually a cause for concern. Call your ob and get yourself cleared of any other possibilities just to be on the safer side. This is just so that you have a peace of mind.

I work on my feet all day my ankles and feet have been swollen for months . Prop them up and drink lots of water and lower your sodium intake.

Lay down & put your feet up. Sometimes it takes 3 hours or more for my swelling to come down completely.

17 weeks pregnant and I'm having swollen ankles. In the mornings they are normal,but by the evening they are a little swollen. Just wonder if that's normal this soon in my pregnancy.

I drink lots of water and wear compression stockings that help alot. I'm constantly on my feet at work. I'm either standing or walking or running because of an emergency.

THERE IS NO WAY TO DIAGNOSE YOU WITHOUT AN EXAMINATION BY A DOCTOR. What do you mean by a lump? Do you mean swollen ankles? When you press there with your finger does it leave an indention there? This could be many things from water imbalance, heart problems causing edema, diabetes causing burning in feet, neurological, bone injury. It is impossible to know without testing and examination by a doctor. ONLY A DOCTOR CAN DIAGNOSE YOU.

Have someone massage your feet going from toes up to your ankles and calfs going upwards so you push the fluid away from your ankle and not into your ankle. Avoid salt, drink lots of water and keep your feet up as much as you can. When you sleep see if you can put a foot on a pillow. If it is not getting better you can get special socks called tent hoes that help circulation, your dr. might have some of check out online or a store.

More than anything, i will notice my ankles swollen after a night of drinking. i try to elevate my feet as much as possible when i am sitting at a desk or lounging. I am 30 years old, 6' 175 lbs. I eat right and stay in shape. The one unhealthy thing i do to my body is binge drink one sometimes two nights a week. i have probably had this for about 8 years.

in the evening my ankles and feet were really swollen. The swelling went away during the night, yesterday no problems. Today i had to sit proper on a hard chair/stand walk, and now again my feet and ankles are like balloons, my toes are a bit numb too... Does anyone have tips to keep your feet from swelling (or make it less badly atleast) when i can't put my feet up? And tips on how to make the swelling go away?
