Joint pain can be caused by a variety of issues such as autoimmune diseases,
gout, osteoarthritis, tendinitis and infections caused by a virus, such as Epstein-Barr viral syndrome, Hepatitis, Influenza or Lyme disease. If the initial tests were negative, further evaluation and additional diagnostic tests including CBC or blood differential, c reactive protein and autoimmune tests may need to be done. Another specialist's opinion may also help. Take care and do keep us posted.
